~Sasuke’s P.O.V.~

It’s been three years since the ninja war and the attack on the Leaf Village. Most of the Akatsuki decided to stay in the Village and the others went to their home villages or were never heard from again. As for Madara, Itachi and I disposed of him that day with our combined efforts and the help from the other ninja and Akatsuki members. Today was the day that I buy some flowers and go to visit the memorial stone and the gravesite. I walked to the flower shop after training to buy a bundle of dark red flowers. On my way there I ran into the Hokage. I bowed to him and he chuckled at me.

“Sasuke you know you don’t have to do that every time you see me, right?” The Hokage said.

“I’m sorry Naruto, I’m just really proud of you. I never expected you to take over Hokage at a young age,” I replied, I could barely make out the blush on his face, but I definitely knew it was there.

Naruto rubbed the back of his head with that same goofy grin he used to give me when we were younger.

“Well… Haha… You know…” He said flustered.

“Haha, say, I’m on my way to the flower shop, would you like to come with me?”

“Are you buying flowers for her?” Naruto questioned raising an eyebrow at me.

“Of course it is!”

“Then hell yeah , I’ll come! Believe It!”

“Are you ever going to grow out of that?” I asked, shaking my head, as I started to walk.

“Aw Sasuke don’t be like that! Doesn’t that bring back good memories?”

“Yeah, yeah, Naruto. Whatever. You know ever since that mission with Rock Lee and Gai-sensei, you’ve been all about preserving that past and living young. Are you going to buy a green suit like theirs too,” I motioned sarcastically.

“NO WAY!” He yelled.

I laughed and continued to tease him all the way to the flower shop.

~Itachi’s P.O.V.~

I sat in the main office filing some paperwork for the Hokage. I never thought I would be doing something like this, especially for the Hokage. I could have never seen myself sitting here doing paperwork. More like running all throughout the world and collecting bounties for criminals, and sleeping in all day. Lately, that doesn’t seem to be happening. All the extra noise has been keeping me up day and night and I can’t seem to get my work done on time. I looked at the clock on the wall, it was almost time for me to meet Sasuke at the memorial stone. Ugh. The work still isn’t done, but this has been a tradition since what happened two years ago, and I dare not be late, I’ll never hear the end of it from Sasuke. He really enjoys going to visit her and bringing her flowers. It’s also not a bad time to visit mom either. I’m not complaining though. After all she’s saved so many people’s lives in the Leaf and there isn’t any other way to thank her. I started to gather all of my items and headed out to meet Sasuke at the usual spot.
