Blood Sucker

Chapter Six

      I still can't think of who might brought that gift to me.And come to think of it,Few people know when my birthday is. Its only my parents and our few relatives back then. But,they are not vampire,they are all human. Sure thing,their grand children know nothing about me.
       "Hey!" Someone tap my shoulder and it was the guy who bring me home last last week. I'm not at home. I decided to go to park in this town and sit on the bench beside the big tree.
"Oh hey,it was you!"I react to my surprise. He always suddenly appear from nowhere.
"Yes,its me!" He said while sitting beside me.
"Ahh,I don't know your name yet" Finally,I ask what his name is. Because all this time I only recognize his face.
"Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself,I'm Zach!"
he lend his hand asking for a shake hands.
"Avril" I shake his hands and he smile.
"Your wound is completely healed. That's great! Fast recovery"
"Yeah,thanks to you. I might be a dead meat right now"
"Don't mention it" I just nod.
My phone beep and there's one text message from Sam.

From:Sam
          We will wait you here at the restaurant.

"I'll go ahead"
"Where are you going?"
"Having a dinner with my friends. Wanna come?"
"Of course. Its a pleasure my majesty" he stand up and take a bow as if I was like a royal highness.
"Stop doing that,people might think your crazy" I chuckled.
     When we reach the place where Sam texted,I talk to a man and he escort me on our table. I only see Sam and Cody.
"He's Zach" I start to introduce him to them when I saw them looking on someone with me.
"Oh hi,I'm Sam" she smile and greet him nicely.
"Hey,I'm Cody"he just smile.
"Its my pleasure to meet you" he smile.
"Take a sit" Sam said and we started pull the chair and sit.
"Where's Ram?" I ask after I remember that he's not here yet.
"I already texted him and I got no reply" I just nod and the waiter came and serve the food we order. We began to eat.
They talk about a lot of things while eating. Sharing stories,opinions,or something about different topics. I don't talk and just eat. I heard them laughing about something. I just listen and sometimes give out a smile and nod just to let them know I'm into their conversation.
Were about to leave and Ram is still not show up.
"We have fun to be with you tonight" Sam said while smiling.
"Yes,you have a lot of stories bro!" Cody said then bump his fist into Zach.
"I should be the one who give thanks with you guys,I have fun too!Should I bring you home?" He ask us,he have his car with him.
"Ahh,I got my car with me,but maybe you can take Avril with you" Cody answer.
"Okay,lets go Avril" I just nod and follow him in his car.
While he was driving I just stare at the window and didn't say anything.
"You okay?" He ask and break the silence between the two of us.
"Yeah,I'm a bit tired" I smile weakly but still staring at the window. He nod and continue to drive.
     I'm about to get off the car when I see Ram get off in his car too and I'm a bit relieve to see him here.He saw us and stop for a moment.
"Uhm Zach bring me home,Cody and Sam will be here soon" I explain and he nod.
"Bye Avril,gotta go. See you next time" he smile and start the engine of his car and drive until he's already gone.I turn around and saw Ram staring at me.
"Where did you go?" I ask him calmly.
"I just do some business. I'm sorry I didn't make it"
"Its okay"
"Thanks"
I look at his arms and I saw blood stains in it.
"Wait,what is this?"
"Nothing,its just a scratch.I can handle it. Come on lets get inside" he hold my hand and we get inside the house. I get the first aid kit from the cabinet and treat his wound.
"What is really happen?"I ask.
"You don't have to know"
"I felt so nervous earlier that you didn't show up and something might happen with you. Can you just say something? I just wanted to know" I stop and look straight in his eyes.
"You don't have to worry about me. Can't you see? I'm still alive in front of you. I can't just die because of that. I'm not that easy to get killed just because I'm a human" He get the cotton in my hand and treat his own wound.
"Fine,I won't bother myself to worry about you. Just go roaming around anywhere even if its dangerous and get yourself killed. I would never care about you again!" I said with disappointment. I turn my back at him and about to walk away when he hold my hand.
"That's not what I mean. I don't want you to worry about me 'cause I know there's a lot of things in your mind. Can we stop arguing just because of this?"
I really can't help it, I do care about him. I don't know why I feel something like this.
"Hey! Your like a married couple fighting over something huh?" We didn't notice that Cody and Sam is already here. And sure they hear what we've talking about a few minutes ago.
"Hey Ram,you didn't answer my text. You alright?" Sam said and come near to Ram.
"Yes,I'm fine. I'm gonna go upstairs. I need to take a rest" he stand up and start to walk and go  straight in his room.
"Me too" I left the two downstairs. I take a bath and change a black night dress. I feel guilty about what I act earlier in front of Ram so I decided to go in his room.
*knock* *knock*
"Get in" he said and I open the door. I saw him doing something in his laptop. He only wear his PJ's and shirtless. I saw his well built body. He look at me for awhile and go back to his laptop.
"I'm sorry about what I say earlier. I'm a bit disappointed and I can't control myself"
He tap the bed,and say
"Come here" I nod and sit beside him. He close the laptop and face me. He start to stare at me. I look down 'cause I can't look straight in his eyes right now. His hand put on my chin and bring it up to face him.His face come near me and our lips finally met. He kiss me so gently and I just agree on what he did. I put my hand on his neck and his on my hips. After a moment we end up out of breath. His hazelnut colored eyes stare at me and my face gets red again.
"Sleep beside me" he said huskily. I just nod and we lay down in his bed together. I snug in his body while his hands put on my shoulder. I love it when I feel his warm body with me. I always feel at ease and secured.
"I know you think that I don't trust you because I don't say what really happen and I know why you act like that because you care about me,I appreciate that" he said with a manly voice of him.
"Its okay if you can't say it for now,I understand. I don't need to know a lot of things especially if its about your job. But you can't blame me if I'm going to worry about you because..." I stop for a moment. I don't know if I have to say this. I look at him and saw his eyes close. He fall asleep so fast,he must be so tired. I level my face with him and stare at it. He look good even if he's sleeping.
"You started to mean a lot to me"
I cuddle him and slowly fall asleep.
