Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy
Wished that the mistress saw they are handy
They sat on Amy's bed all through the day
But were never given a chance to play
Andy talked slowly as he touched Ann's hand
Remember, tonight we do as we planned
-
Amy arrived home and plopped on the bed
They smiled, but she played with the cat instead
Andy looked at Ann and gave her a nod
Then switched his focus to the curtain rod
-
Later that night, while Amy was sleeping
The rag dolls went across the floor, creeping
Climbed up the curtains with certain finesse
Brought them down quietly with great success
The pair took the rod and walked to the hall
Screamed FIRE from the top stair and watched her fall
