The Genie and The Queen

The Shock

All characters Belong to ABC once upon time. 

Regina was in her bedroom when she found out that out she was pregnant. In fact she was just about three weeks into her pregnancy. she knew something wasn't right; she hadn't eaten probably and she been throwing up every morning. The thoughts going through Regina's mind was making her confused, how could she be pregnant. she wasn't in a relationship with anybody and the last time she slept with a man was two weeks before the curse broke. However as Regina sat down onto her king side bed, not taking her eyes of the pregnancy test it all came back to her.

" Sidney" whispered Regina to herself as realization hit her. She invited Sidney to her office two weeks before the curse broke. The day after she tried to fool Emma swan about Sidney. She near thought a one night stand would put her in this situation but now she was sitting on her bed looking at the pregnancy test with a look of displeasure. There was no way she could tell him about this baby. moving from her bed Regina dashed the test into the bathroom bin and turn on the shower. Before  she entered the shower she looked at herself in the mirror. her skin was much paler due being sick all the time and her eyes had dark circles around the because of the lack of sleep. Running her fingers into her hair she turned away and entered the shower. 

Entering the kitchen to make breakfast she was greeted by her son eating his chocolate Cheerios. she was surprised, Henry normally got up late for school as he always forgot to set his alarm clock the night before. " Good morning mum." he she said as Regina took a bowl from the cabinet. 

"Good morning Henry how comes your up so early in the morning?" Pouring the milk into her Kellogg cereal she took a seat opposite from her little prince. Henry's eyes moved his cereal then back again facing Regina. 

"I heard you" Henry said softly. Regina looked at her son with confused eyes until she realize what he was talking about. Not ready to tell Henry about the baby she tried to change the subject. 

" Well... did you sleep well-" Cut of by her son, Henry continue. "I heard you in the bathroom mum, are you feeling well?"

Regina pushed aside her half eaten cereal as she felt a wave nausea hit her. " I feel fine Henry just a little stressed that all nothing to worry about." with a smile that didn't reach her eyes she knew Henry could see right through it but he didn't ask any further. Henry had decided to stay with Regina four days after the curse broke as he was scared for her safety but stayed with Emma on the weekend at Mary Margaret and David apartment. However for the last couple of weeks he had been awoken to loud footsteps towards the bathroom and horrible sounds of his mum vomiting. at first he took nothing of it but now he was starting to really worry him.

After breakfast was finished Regina dropped Henry off to school and headed off to work. she had manage to get her job back after Emma Swan had convince the town she wouldn't harm or course any problems.She had gotten through half of her paperwork until she was hit by her fifth wave of nausea of the day. she had decided to miss lunch and now she was regretting her decision. Not able to hold it anymore Regina ran towards the bathroom emptying what ever was left in her stomach.

3:00pm had arrived and Emma went to pick up her Henry from school. She had got a text from Regina asking her  to pick up Henry as she was going to be late. As she arrived at  the school she automatic saw Henry coming out from the main entrance doors. Emma notice the concern look on her son's face as he walked towards her. "hey Kid."

"Hi Emma." giving her a quick hug they started walk towards the apartment. 

"so what up you look really worried today did you have have a bad day at school?"

"No its just that my mum isn't feeling well and she wouldn't tell me what's wrong." Henry said looking back at Emma. 

"Oh its probably just the flu i am sure is will be fine." Emma said reassuring him. 

"She was vomiting in the morning"

"Really?" Emma said with concern on her face as well. "Do you want me have a talk with her about it"

"yes please maybe she will tell you cause your adult." feeling relief. As they entered the apartment Henry got started with his homework when Emma started to prepare dinner for the both of them.
