Issac's POV
The tapping on the door isn't what woke me up; it was the flutter against my hand that did. It was light, kind of like a tickle, and I almost missed it.
It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced; feeling your child move for the first time. For me, even the smallest things were milestones.
I never thought I'd be able to feel them kick, to see them walk, to hear them breathe. I was thankful for this, even if something wasn't right.
So when I heard the tapping at the door, I got up as quietly as I could. When I opened the door, I was greeted by a bored looking Katniss.
"Can I help you?" I said, smiling at her.
"Walk with me," she said, taking a step back.
"Sure, let me get dressed." I say, going back into the room to change. On the way out, I kissed Prim's forehead gently and wrote her a quick note.
"Ready?" I say to Katniss, quietly closing the door behind me.
Katniss and I walked side by side in silence, I was too nervous to say anything. She didn't look happy, less happy than usual. I knew she doesn't like me, it's obvious.
"Katniss?" I finally say, my confidence building. "I didn't mean for this to happen."
"What are you talking about?" She replies, looking at me.
"Prim, the wedding, and the baby." I say, avoiding her gaze. "I didn't think I would live so I took what I was given."
"Issac.." She began but I couldn't let her say anything until I was done.
"Katniss, listen. I'm sorry if you don't approve but I love your sister and I love that baby. I'm not going anywhere," I say, my voice shaking with nervousness.
"You think I wanted to go on a walk with you to tell at you?" I hear Katniss say, chuckling a bit.
I nodded my head, realizing that I'd been completely wrong. "Yeah.."
Katniss let out a laugh, pushing a door open with her back. I walked in behind her, my eyes widening.
"I like you Issac, you're great for Prim. I was wrong at first but seeing Prim happy is enough for me. So, I arranged this. Should we go get the wife?" She said, punching my shoulder when I didn't reply.
I nodded quickly, racing out of the room to go wake Prim up.

"Just a warning, the gel is really cold," the doctor said as she squeezed the light blue gel onto Prim's protruding stomach.
Prim giggled, not fazed by the temperature of the gel, when the doctor spread the gel over her stomach.
"Let's see," the doctor said, turning the screen towards her. She moved the ultrasound around Prim's stomach, her eyes trained on the screen.
She smiled and pressed a few buttons. Seconds later, a gentle heartbeat filled the room.
"Issac!" Prim gasped, gripped my hand tightly as she squealed, tears filling her eyes.
"That's our baby," I said, awestruck by the sound. I turned around to Katniss, smiling widely at her.
"Thank you, Katniss," I said as my smile grew.
"Look here," the doctor said, turning the screen towards us; she began pointing to things on the screen. "There's the eyes, the nose, and the mouth."
"They have your nose, Is!" Prim squeals once again, my hand is encased in her iron grip.
