If you are a young or older African American woman reading my book this is personally for you.
I know it's hard being an African American woman, especially in the society we live in today, but know that you are blessed. Blessed with a complexion no one other than yourself can have. Know that you are loved by those who do not care about how you look, but about how you carry yourself. Know that you are intelligent and strong enough to get the education 'not made for our kind'. Prove society wrong show every negative ass people out there that you proud to be an African American woman. Show that African American woman too can do just as much, or even more than other raced woman.
Last but not least know that your race doesn't define you, it's you that defines yourself and it's only you who can prove to others you are worthy.
So here's my challenge for all of you, tell me why you're proud to African American.
