Emma woke up half an hour late. She dived out of bed and rushed to get ready. As she ran down the stairs she almost tripped over the potdoll which was on the third step. She left it there because she didn't have the time to put it back and get out the door because the taxi was here.
At work she was falling asleep until a phone call came through. "Hello what is your emergency?" A woman's panicked voice came through the speaker something about someone being hit by a van. This was never good news. "Where are you?" Emma asked. The reply was 21 Oxford Street. Emma thought that sounded familiar but brushed it aside. "Okay an ambulance is on its way." Emma hung up and informed the ambulance crew.
She sighed. But the name Oxford was still swirling round her head especially number 21....Oh No!! It was her mum's neighbor!! She called her mum's phone...nothing...again...nothing. She started to panic and told her boss. He let her go and even offered her a lift!
