**Sadie's pov**

She and Jackie got called into the station but she brought Liz along as she was related to the case and still a bit scared. She text David to let him know where to meet them if Liz wasn't there when he got home.

It turned out the police had tracked down the shop where the dolls were last even though it had burned down, but they didn't know where they were now. Jackie suggested her and Sadie travel to the shop to see if they could get anything. The police agreed and Detective Lewis accompanied them. Liz stayed behind with Detective Jesse.

Once they arrived at the scene they realised the ground hadn't been rebuilt after the building burned. The area did feel quite dark even though it was bright sunshine outside. They touched the burnt timber and gathered some remains of the shop and as they walked through they got names well a start. There were three one male beginning with 'R' he seemed older than the other two. The other two were female who seemed related one was older and one younger one began with an 'S' and the last name began with an 'O'. They travelled back to the station to rest and they agreed they had moved on but took everything with them and any evidence had been burned. The least the owners could get charged with was arson or being a danger to the public.

**Police pov**

Since all the cases had happened in a one-year period, it was easier to narrow down the search and since the ground hadn't been rebuilt it came up with the names easily; Robert O'Grady 56, Sarah O'Grady 46 husband and wife and their daughter Lillian O'Grady 23. They just needed to find their current address or phone number and track them down. The address didn't come up so they tracked their phones and sent 3 cars to the place; which meant 15 police officers were at the scene to detain the three and collect images as evidence and find the doll, lock the place up and put tape around the scene and back to the station.

It took three hours to get to the scene, it turned out to be a warehouse/bunker in a forest. It was almost entirely covered by bushes and when the officers arrived, they quickly surrounded the bunker and told them to come out with their hands up and that they are armed. They didn't come out, so three officers went in while the rest guarded the exits. They managed to work their way around the bunker in dim light in some areas and others were well lit and in 10 minutes they had found the family. But that wasn't what shocked them; it was the dolls, they were everywhere. The room felt eerie but they moved past that and got the family in custody and the rest of the officers took photos and searched for the doll and eventually found it in the morgue, a strange place to have a morgue and a strange place to keep a doll. They took more photos and an officer took the doll back. That meant there were 11 officers remaining to check around the place and two searched the morgue and found children's bodies and realised the dolls looked like them. Sadie and Jackie were right; it was black/dark magic.

Back at the station the children were identified using the name tags on the dolls and families were notified. It was a split between my child had been dead for weeks and buried to their child had gone missing to complete shock. They gathered as much evidence as they could need before releasing the bodies (again in some cases) and started to piece it together. It was clear the children hadn't been killed by any dolls, just by the family they had in custody so they charged them with murder and arson and arranged to go to court.

The chief walked into interrogation with the two dolls and decided to video them all night to see what would happen and to get any answers. Then went through the other evidence found at the scene which involved a lot of black magic books on how to sacrifice people and how to possess toys with spirits. Clearly the family needed mental help too so they added this to the case to go to the defence lawyers, once everything had been collected and gone through numerous times to ensure everything had been collected and nothing missed, they handed the case over and went home.

(2 weeks later)

**Liz pov**

The trial had just ended and she was with David, Sadie and Jackie waiting to hear the news. The police chief walked over then smiled saying they were going to be in a mental health ward until they were deemed of clear and reasonable mind and then moved into prison for life because they had killed over 100 children it had been going on for years, constantly moving around the place so no one knew them. They all left court happy apart from with their friends and a double funeral to plan. Sadie was moving away and decided to change her name to Iris and move to Russia as she wanted to be closer to family so was flying out after the funerals. Jackie was setting off on a cruise and getting involved with police work when she was back and as for herself; she was moving to a new house, planning two funerals and going on holiday herself to Cyprus. She would live each day like it was her last and if she ever had children she would name them after her friends; Emma and Adrian so they could always be together and look out for each other.

As for the dolls, they had been designed after the dead children and the last she heard is they were put into a museum after the police tried to destroy them and they turned back up burned, limbs missing, glued back together...the list was endless. The glass was nailed shut and the case was displayed so everyone could read what herself and her friends went through. They also found the murder weapons; each doll had it tucked into a bag, bonnet, shoe or into folds of their dresses.
