The Reveal

I have the worst headache. My mind is racing trying to understand what all is happening. How does he even know Angela? Is that her real name? I'm losing my mind. I sit at my desk and run her name through CODB....Central Observation Data Base and she has no priors so I'm stuck. I have a good mind to drive back to that hotel but it could be a setup. I'm Detective Jonathan Sanchez! Nobody crosses me like this! What the hell was really going on?

I have to give him a little credit because he knew what he was doing but one thing about a good game of chess.....you never let your opponent know your next move. It was time I get ahead of this game and make it come to an end.

Jessica:

I put in overtime today trying to scramble up some witnesses so I could put Mr. Carnilla away for a long time. Mommy used to always tell me, it's not about how many you shoot but who you shoot that makes the biggest impact so that's why I wanted to take away the gang's most powerful source. The only tricky part was to "Actually " find him and catch him. They should've named him ninja or ghost because that suits him best. I call to check up on Jonathan.

"Sanchez here!"

"What's the purpose of the caller id on the phone if you never use it?"

"Hi, honey how are you?"

"I'm good. I'm going to be working late tonight because I want to get this bastard off the streets for good."

"That makes the both of us because I'm trying to see what evidence if any that I can find on him and bring him in. I've had all I can take from him."

"You and me both baby. Well, see you later.

"Okay, I love you!"

"Yea you too."

I still wasn't confident enough yet to say I love you just yet. I mean don't get me wrong, I do love him, but I'm still trying to forgive him. Not sure how long that would take, but as of right now, my heart is not there yet.

I decided to go to our neighbors for help, NYPD since that's where Mr. Carnilla grew up. Maybe if he has some priors or hell maybe even an outstanding warrant, I can use that to bring him in.

"NYPD how may I direct your call?"

"Hi, this is District Attorney Sanchez. May I speak to Captain of Gang's Crime Unit please?"

"Sure hold the line for transfer."

"Detective Weston, how may I be of service today?"

"Good evening Detective Weston my name is Jessica Sanchez, I'm the DA for the Washington District and I need your help if possible."

"Well, I can try. This must be serious if you're asking for our help!"

"As a matter of fact, it is. I'm working on a case, and I'm having some trouble catching this punk!"

"Does this punk have a name?"

"Yes, Ramon Carnilla!"

"Chico?"

"So you know him?"

"O yes damn near everybody knows him in New York. We've been trying to find him for the past five years. He's like a freaking ninja or something. Maybe we can help each other.

"Hopefully. What's his sheet with you guys?"

"He's wanted for questioning for murder here right before he left.

"Well he is the prime suspect here for a few bodies, but without any hard evidence, well you know the rest!"

"Looks like we're in the same boat but I'll tell you what I'll do. I will see what we can come up with here, and if it'll help, I will send it to you."
