Five Years after...😍😍😍

Alexander "Sandro" POV.

As i look into the wide and clean Paoay Lake, over looking kase ito sa Malacañang of the North where me and my family is currently in. It's July 02, 2021. Five years to be exact when Akela and I got married and now i can tell im the happiest man alive. I took a sip of my red wine on the goblet and feel the cool breeze of the lake. When Dad tap my shoulder. Well kumpleto kame ngayon dito because it's our Grandma's bday. Our Mama Meldy and as a family tradition na no matter how busy we are kapag bday ng parents and grandparents we should be complete. Naka batas nayun ng mga Araneta. Well maaga pa naman para magstart ang party napagkasunduan na hapon gaganapin and its still 9am so maaga pa and they arr currently finalizing the venue. Which is sa function hall ng malacañang of the north.
I smiled to dad and offer him a drink. He agreed and i gave him the other goblet with wine. He looks in the lake also. And smiling.
"You seems so happy dad?" Well dad been planning to run again as a president after his term next year. And me as a Governor of ILOCOS NORTE. been planning also on running again. well just like dad who has been my idol. Sumabak na din ako sa pulitika and siguro based na din sa good records ng pamilya ko nanalo ako and now im currently in my governor position. Well been thankful to my wife who has been there to guide me. Kahit na nahirapan siya nung buntis siya sa pangangampanya kinaya naman niya. And yeah.. we have a child now. A very cute and charming baby boy named after me. Since he is my first born and he is a boy. We decided to named him Ferdinand Alexander Araneta IV 😙😘

Well BabySander has been our bundle of Joy. He is now turning 2 years old. And just like my wife. Sander has been a blessing. And i can tell fatherhood taught me alot of things in life. Well i can say now that i understand the feeling of my dad when he send us in London before. Been thinking on that also. Well not until BabySander will gonna be a bigbrother haha😁
"Been so happy Son, fatherhood fits you and im so happy you can multi task. From a governor to being a daddy to Sander. Been so happy Son that i can see your being a very good daddy and husband to Akie i remember myself when i was your age.im sooo proud of you Son." Daddy told me with a smile. We cheers.
"Thanks dad. You have been my idol so everything that you see in me, well its all because of you. You being a cool daddy, you being the respected president. Being your Son dad is such an honor and i will treasure for the rest of my life." I answered dad and tap his shoulder.
That when a tiny voice called my name. And when i turned around BabySander is running near me. Behind him running also is his mom. Who is still gorgeous everyday. And i can tell motherhood fits her more.
"Daddy! Daddy! Granny! Granny!" Baby Sander.
I laughed when dad approach his Apo and babysander chuckled when dad started to tickle him in the chin. Thats his tickle point.
"Hayyy kanina pako napapagod kakasunod sayo baby,pinapagod mo naman si mommy ee!" Sabi ng asawa ko. I hugged her in the back and kissed her neck.
"Nasan ba ang yaya niya?" Dad asked my wife.
"Inutusan ko pong magtimpla ng gatas ni babysander dad." My wife answered. And then he looks at me and smiled.
"And what are you smiling at wifey?" I asked her and kissed her nose. She chuckled. She stand infront of me and hold my two hands. But before she said something nagdatingan naman sa terrace sina Mama Meldy, tita irene and tita imee. My cousins and of course mommy with Simon and Vincent.
"Akela has something important to sau guys listen!" Authorative na sabi ni mama. When daddy wasnt paying attention because he was playing witj BabySander. Mommy gets Sander to daddy. My son chuckled when he saw mom.one of his favorite playmate.😁
"Louise youve been so unfair. Ngayon ko lang ulit makakarga ang apo ko. Just give me this moment please?" Dad objected na parang bata na inagawan ng laruan. Nagtawanan ang lahat.
"Later Ferdinand, your daughter has something important to announce." Sagot naman ni mommy na karga ang anak namen.
"Okay okay..what ist Akie iha?" Dad surrendered haha.
"It seems so important iha, reason why your mom dragged us here." Biro naman ni mama meldy sa asawa ko. Medyo curious na din ako. Ano kayang magandang balita niya? Chief nurse na kaya ang asawa ko? Pero last month lang siya nagpasa ng reccomendations niya kaya imposible. That when Akie started to say something.
My wife look into my eyes. Her sparkling eyes and gave me her sweetest smile. She gets something on her pocket and gave it to me. Actually nagtataka ako bakit ako bibigyan ng asawa ko ng small something covered with red hanky. I look into her
"Whats this?" I asked her. She just smiled and said.
"Open it"
"Open it Sandro" everyone cheered me. I slowly open the knotted hanky. Even si dad simon and vincent ay nakitingin tingin na din naman. Pero si dad and ako lang ang nakagets ng bagay nayun. It was a PT. (a two red lined pregnancy test kit.) My eyes widened. I look to dad in surprise then i turned my gaze to my wife. Pinakita ko saknya.
"Y-you?!" Hindi ko matuloy tuloy ang pagtatanong ko. I was so happy and overwhelmed same feeling when i found out that akie is pregnant with Sander.
My wife nodded when she gets what im asking.
"Yes, yes! Im two months pregnant hubby!" She finally answered. The feeling is beyond words!
"Yes! Im gonna be a daddy again! Whooohhhhohhh!!!!" I shouted and hugged my wife so tight. They congratulated us. When i turned my gaze to our babySander na karga ng mommy he just looking at me na para bang nagtayanong kung ano ang nangyayare.
"Baby may kapatid ka na. And you gonna see her 7months from now!" Excited na kausap ko sa anak ko na feeling ko naiintindihan niya ako. Then my boy chuckled.
Mom and dad hugged me.
"Another blessing to the family" dad said and hugged Akie too.
"Congratulations again Iha, you are such a blessing to the family" mom said to akie.
"Blessings po tayo sa isat isa mommy" my wife answered and hugged my mom back.
"She would gonna be a beautiful face and brains." Dad dreamingly said as if he is too sure na babae na ang magiging apo niya.
"How sure are you na babae ang magiging pangalawang apo mo?" Mom asked dad.
"Trust my instinct mahal. She will be my second grandchild. IMELDA ALEXANDRA ARANETA" napa wow na lang kameng lahat when dad named his second grandchild that soon.
"Awwww i just love that name anak!" Mama meldy said in surprise. Syempre matutuwa kase isusunod sa pangalan niya.
"I named Sandro after dad and he named Sander after him so he should or they should named my second grandchild to you. Thats a tradition mom" daddy said. And smile. Nakaisa na naman ang daddy haha.
kinuha ko si Sander kay mom and i hugged my wife too. My bundle of joy. Me being a family man. Having a loving wife, supportive family and an adorable bundle of joy na madadagdagan ulit after 7months. And being a governor and serving my kababayan. Well wala na akong mahihiling pa. Wala ng mahihiling pa ang isang FERDINAND ALEXANDER "SANDRO" ARANETA- Governor of ILOCOS NORTE.💟💕💟👊👊👍👍✌✌✌
