He wore a very unique haircut... It almost looked as if his barber started breakdancing with clippers in his hand when it came to the top of his fade.

As for his face... He was something beautiful. I never saw a guy look so rough and sensitive at the same time, and that made him desirable.

His eyes... Lord, his eyes.

For a boy, he had the prettiest eyelashes that could put any female to shame.

His facial features were strong. His mama and daddy deserved an award for making him.

What was his goddamn name?

"It's all in ya face... I told you he was a sight to behold." Dijah smirked.

I ignored her comment and looked around at all the birds gawking at him.

I knew I lost when Brenda had her eyes on him.

Brenda was a mulatto girl who every guy in the school had a crush on.

That girl done been ran through like a train station, but she was never the one to get her heart broken; she was the one to break hearts.

She bit her lip.

"There go Brenda funky ass lookin at yo man." Dijah rolled her eyes.

"I don't even know his name and you already givin titles? Slow down, chickenhead." I retorted.

I watched him make his way to his seat and admired his sense of fashion.

He wore a denim jacket with a sweatshirt underneath that matched his black and white Adidas and his jeans conveniently matched his jacket.

I knew he wasn't from here, but the kid was fresh.

"He's.. Somethin." I bit my lip and exhaled.

"Ooh, check you out. If I wasn't with Rodney stank ass, I'd be eyeing lil daddy too. That cat is fine! What did ms thing say his name was?" Dijah patted down her finger waves.

"Shit, I was hoping you knew." I went back to doodling.

"You checkin for him, ain't you? How bout you go ask ol boy what his name is?"  Dijah suggested.

I shook my head.

"Now you know, my pride ain't up to par, I ain't tryna get dissed. Besides.. Brenda is all up in his grill." I shrugged.

"That bitch is on everything moving. He don't look too interested though."

I said nothing and ignored the whole shabang.

What's his face was cute and all but I wasn't gonna go ill over the kid.

The bell rang and it was time for our next class.

"Catch you on the flip, boo!" Dijah ran out.

"Holla." I smiled .

I stayed behind, putting all my things away.

"So... How bout you walk me to my next class?"I heard Brenda's hoochie voice.

I rolled my eyes.

There she go.

"Ya legs broke? You got a disability ?Look, you a pretty girl and all but..I don't like people I don't know sweatin me. Soon as I came in here you jumped on me, where's your self respect?"

I immediately stopped what I was doing and looked to see if I was hearing right.

Did he just diss Brenda?!
