Chapter 3: long road

London's P.O.V

I woke up really early in the morning, I checked the time
"Five am" I mumbled I threw my covers off and got up slowly since I was so tired, I re-tied my robe and put my slippers on, I walked to the bathroom. I put my hair in a really tight bun and put a stretchy headband on, I threw water on my face and put my face wash on, then I rinsed it off. I don't get acne that much and I never had blackheads in my life so I don't know why I washed my face but it made me feel nice, I turned off the light and walked slowly down the stairs to the kitchen. I made myself a small bowl of mixed fruit, when I finished my breakfast I watched tv for 30 minutes, then I decided I would get changed. I walked up the stairs and into my room I heard my brother snoring and I laughed, but I realized right away people were still sleeping so I covered my mouth with my hand and shut my door quietly I shuffled to my closet and got my black jeans, jean shirt, and gray sweater, I quickly got changed and by the time I was done it was six thirty. I grabbed my phone and looked at the science fact of the day 'the human brain (when awake) produces enough electricity to power a 40 watt lightbulb for 24 hours'
"Wow" I said in amazement i jumped on my bed, and I heard a knock on the door
"Come in" I yelled, my mom peaked her head in and smiled
"I'll give you a ride to school when your ready to go, okay" mom explained
"Okay, mom"' I said, my mom smiled and walked out of my room. I sat on my bed playing games on my phone till 8.
"London do you wanna go now?" Mom asked, I quickly grabbed some 'gym clothes' and put them in my bag,and ran down stairs
"Yup" I said, I got in the passenger seat of my moms cars and listened to my music. When I got to school I said goodbye to my mom, I saw 2 girls playing soccer, they looked like new kids so I walked up to them
"Hello" I greeted them, they stopped playing soccer and looked at me
"Hey" they both said
"I'm London Greene" I introduced myself
"I'm Emily and this is my younger sister Lilly" the taller girl said and pointing to the smaller girl known as he younger sister
"Hi Emily and Lilly" I said, they both smiled at me
"Well I got to go and get changed before people start coming" Lilly said and ran across the soccer field
"Okay" I said, I looked at Emily she was taking off her soccer gloves.

Emily's P.O.V

I saw a girl walking over to us and Lilly kicked a ball because she didn't see the girl, I caught the ball and walked out of the net
"Lilly next time look to see if the person is watching okay" I said, Lilly gave a smile
"Okay" she said and she skipped beside me, we talked to girl then Lilly decided to go home and change into some real clothes, so I ended up talking to her she's actually a really nice girl but she could use a new look, so I decided I would take her in under my wing. The bell rang for school to start me and London walked into school together, I saw London get tense when two girls walked past us but I didn't bother to ask why, we checked our schedule for classes I had art and London had science, I felt bad for her but she seemed happy to have science and I was cool with that. Yesterday I was so nervous I couldn't make any friends but today I feel confident, I did art class and I had to draw myself, it didn't turn out so well my painting of myself looks like an alien of some sort, but anyway I was happy with my work. After every class me and London had a small conversation before our next class, when it was lunch time I sat with her which is on the stairs, you see everything that happens on the stairs, I have a feeling that me and London will be best friends.
