Mitch's POV
Jayden and I are sitting in the music room once again. The two of us literally spend all day in here. We have been working on a piece on my laptop, it is coming along nicely. We plan to have it done by the time I get realised which is in a few days. I'm excited to go home and cuddle with Jerome. But I've got to go back to school. Oh god. I know they know what happened. School is going to be a nightmare. But just think. I only have like 5 months before I graduate.
I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I guess I'll go to university and study music or something, but from there, I have no idea. I honestly don't think I was planning on living until I was this old. I have tried many times to end it, but I know it's not going to happen again.
I'm worth it now though.
And no, don't start thinking that it's the drugs and the psychologist talking. All of that pain was in the past, nothing can hurt me. The only thing that can hurt me is my demons which lay deep within me. Not even an exorcist could rid the world of my demons.
"So, I think this done." Jayden says, pulling me from my thoughts. I nod my head in agreement. I start the song and the two of us listen to it through my white headphones. Damn, it's pretty good if I do say so myself. Jayden did the vocals while I did the music. Damn, he can sing. It's quite a unique voice if I do say so myself, I've never heard anything like it before. It's quite feminine yet has a masculine undertone. He has told me he is on testosterone to make his voice deeper, give his facial hair and since he is still developing, his body figure to be more masculine. I talked to him about transitioning. He said he is going to get top surgery so he gets rid of his boobs as he always wears a binder. But, he isn't going to get bottom surgery, and I understand why because of what he told me, yeah I wouldn't do it.
I sigh when the track is finished and look at Jayden. I lean forward and hug him tightly, causing him to do the same.
"I'm going to miss you." I whisper into his shoulder. He nods in agreement, words failing him. It's my last day here. I'm excited to see Jerome again, but I'm sad to leave Jayden. Of corse we will meet up again, but it isn't going to be the same when we can't spend every day together. At least I have this song to remind me of our time together.
I met his girlfriend. They have a long distance relationship and she is so sweet and supportive. I can see why the two of them love eachother so much. Jayden looked at her like she was her savour, in which she was as Jayden explained to me. I feel sorry for him. Like me, he's been through so much bullshit that he doesn't deserve.
And so, here I am now, waiting outside the resort for the love of my life to pick me up. I sigh a little as I think back to my couple months at this place. I'm going to miss it. It made sure to tell the staff and Liam how grateful I am for everything they have done for me, tear were shed from both parties. I am seriously considering becoming a child psychologist now, I really want to help young people who need it. They deserve to be happy.
I look to see dads car has pulled up out the front of me. Excitement floods my system as I see Jerome stepping out the car. I run up to him and he runs up to me. I crash into him and squeeze him as hard as I can, as does he. Silent Tears make their down my checks. I haven't cried in ages. Damn.
"I love you so so much Mitch." He says while pulling back. I look into his forest green eyes to see that they are laced over with a film of tears. A smile tugs at my lips. "I love you too, so so much."
I look to my right to see dad watching us with a smile. I go over to him and hug him too. He sighs into my shoulder making me smile a little. I love these two men so much, they mean everything to me.
