Hey guys, just to let you know, this chapter may seem like it's moving to many different places very fast, but I need to pick up the pace on #Merome, cause I have a perfect plot....HEHEHEHE
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Mitch's POV
The day after I get home, I decided to go to school. Everyone thought I was crazy, but we have the music assignment due today. I want to win, although that sounds very selfish. I think it's time I do something I want to do. I'm so sick and tired of falling to my demons. I need to stand tall for once.
Anyway, when I went into the music room in a wheel chair, the music teacher was shocked, along with the rest of the class. She asked what happened but I ignored her and sat in my seat, Lachlan moved the chair so I just sat in my wheelchair. I'm never telling anyone what exactly happened, not unless they witnessed it or I trust them. Yeah, so no one else is going to find out. The teacher just ignores it for the moment and continues talking to the class who has started to pay attention to her instead of me. Nerves swelled through my stomach. I still have anxiety, so it's not making this any easier. But I knew I needed to do this. For myself.
The performance went really well, at first, I was terrified. But after a couple of lines, the words rolled effortlessly off of my tongue. My fingers pressed down onto the piano without hesitation. The others followed my lead. The song was absolutely beautiful. Once I sang the last note, the entire room was silent. At first I thought it was because it was terrible, but then, the room explodes into cheers and claps. I looked to the others who looked back to me with goofy smiles on their faces. I gave them a small smile and went back to my seat, some people giving me high fives.
We sat through the rest of the performances which weren't as good as ours. Ha, nothing like some confidence, am I right? Anyway, when everyone had completed there pieces and handed the arrangements to the teacher, she told us who won. My group and I were all on the edges of our seats. Then the teacher told us.
We won!
I was so excited, the group and I hugged eachother and laughed. The teacher chuckled at us. Everyone else congratulated us. Then the bell went.
~*~
Right now I'm sitting in the passenger seat of Jerome's car listening to Pierce The Veil. We are making our way into the city for the concert tonight. The two of us along with the gang are going to stay for a few days down there. It's like a mini vacation. My father is unable to come down for the concert or Christmas. Although I'm pretty upset about it, I understand. His work is very demanding. I miss him though.
Jerome still hasn't told his friends and continues to hang out with them. I understand completely though, so the two of us just hang out in our own time. The others still seem a bit wary of him, but get along with him anyway.
Before hand, the group and I got to spend time with the honor band, perfecting our work. It was so much fun. Now, everything is perfect. Also, Seto has been healing me. I'm completely healed now, although they all scared. Well, except for my wrists, they are still quiet bad, but time is going to have to heal these wounds. So, I'm still wearing bandages for them. I can walk now which is good.
Anyway, the two of us and screaming along with Jingle Bells. Don't question us. It's Christmas Eve, let us celebrate in our own...special way. I laugh a little as Jerome screams really high pitched. I love spending time with Jerome. He is so much fun to be around. Although, when it's time to be serious, he changes in a moment. He is kind of like Adam, but more...responsible.
