Mitch's POV

So from that point on, Jerome and I become best friends. The day after waking up in his arms, we went to school. We agreed not to talk to eachother because that would not end well with both of our friendship groups. But I remember looking at his table, and he was looking at me also. He lifted an apple and took a bite out of it, signalling for me to eat. So, I mirrored his actions. He is building me back up. He is such a nice person, almost too good to be true.

He has told me everything about himself. He knows fluent Italian and a little French, which is cool. I haven't really told him much about me. But he understands why I don't want to talk about it. Trust is making its way through though. I trust Jerome. I trust him more then I trust myself. He won't hurt me, but his friends will. We also agreed for him not stop them, it'll be suspicious. No one can know about our friendship. Not even the guys can. They all hate his guts, and would probably abandon me if they found out. Could you imagine what would happen to the both of us? The jock and nerd. Who would've thought huh?

Everyday after school, I go over to his house, sometimes even spend the night. We play video games, me kicking his ass, watch movies and just be idiots. My mask disappears when I'm around him, and it feels so good when I let it all out. It's been such a long time since I've been myself around someone, not even when I'm by myself. Every tear I've shed, Jerome has been there to catch it. Every time I laugh, Jerome is the cause of it. He has noticed this too, and he seems so happy that he has me joyful.

The guys have seen a change in me too. I'm smiling more often and cutting maybe 3 times a week. That's a drastic change since I used to do it every day. I'm eating more. I'm smiling more. I'm talking more. They've all noticed and are extremely happy that I've started acting like myself around them. Though, they do not know the exact reason why I've changed.

In a few days, we have to perform our piece for music. It's on the night before Christmas. We have practiced what I composed a couple of times. They seem to have it down pat. Hopefully we loose. As selfish as that may sound, I don't want to perform at the end of year concert which is in a week.

Right now I'm at lunch, eating an apple (apples are my favourite fruit), and listening to the guys and gals talk. I've also been Inputing into conversations, even without someone asking me a question. Adam is talking about his YouTube career. By the sounds of it, he makes a lot of money. Heh, if I was playing games for 11 million people, I would want a little bit of money too. Though, he just plays for the fun of it. He doesn't care about the money.

Then I come up with a really good idea, making me but into the conversation. "Hey Adam?" I ask sheepishly. He looks looks at me with an eyebrow raised. I lean my head on my hand, too tired to keep it up myself. All attention is taken to me.

"Have you ever thought about doing a parody?" I ask bluntly. The table has turned its attention to us. He thinks for a moment and then answers. "Yeah I have thought about it. The thing is no one knows I can sing. And I have no talent when it comes to writing music." He says, frowning. I smirk.

"You know I can compose something, right? I'll do it if you want, for free." I say smiling. His eyes brighten in excitement. "Really?! But! I have to give you something." He says. I shake my head. "I literally live in a massive two story house with a grand piano and nearly every other instrument in an orchestra. I think I'm good for money." I counter attack. His face becomes shocked along with everyone but Preston and rob. Oh that's right, I've never shown them my house or what I live in. This is literally the first time I've ever mentioned something about home.

"Wait, what?" Jess asks. I cower a little at the attention. "Your rich?" Vikk asks. I nod. "Yeah, I guess. My dad is the CPO at some big company. The downside is that I literally never see him anymore. I'm alone most of the time..." I trail off. "Yeah, anyway, a few months ago he came home for the first time since we moved here. He told me to go to my room. I was so confused. But in the end, he made a massive studio for me. A couple days after, he left yet again. I haven't him since." I say honestly. They nod in understanding. We sit in awkward silence for a moment.
