Tobin's POV

"Toby!" I heard Alex's voice from somewhere inside the box, and as I chased down the right side of the field I managed to eventually kick the ball inside. Feeling confident Alex was in the right position, I was already smiling wide as I saw the ball go where I wanted it. Baby-Horse Alex ran down the defenders and beat them to the ball, making the perfect volley into the net behind Ashlyn.
"Hell yeah!" I yelled, as Alex ran towards me and ended with a jump in my arms. "One hell of a pass." Alex smiled, jumping down from me. "Great finish." I smiled back, before a couple more teammates jumped on us.
"How do you two read each other so damn good, you're making it impossible for us." Ali shook her head with a smile, giving us a path on the back before running over to her girlfriend. Ashlyn gave me a thumbs up as I looked over. "Petition for those two to be on opposite teams." Kelley joked, smiling towards Jill, our coach, as she entered the pitch.
"Great job tonight, girls. See you Thursday." She smiled, before dismissing us from practice.

It's only the first week back after school started up again, and I'm enjoying no longer being the youngsters. As a sophomore Jill has already stated she wants me to step up a little in the team, be more of a leading figure. I'm enjoying the responsibility and freedom so far, for sure making the best out of it.
We got a few new players this year as well, and I got a good feeling. Press is working great on top with Alex, Moe being already taken under the wing by Cheney, Lindsey and I work great together, and Julie's like a wall on the backline. I heard there's another girl starting next week, Mallory I think, apparently beside from being kickass in soccer, she's super smart cause she skipped like two classes. The team is looking great this year.

"Can anyone tell me who was a part of the Versailles Treaty?" The teacher asked a question, and as usual I wasn't paying that much attention. I was sitting next to Kelley, who I think was asleep right now, with Alex and Amy behind me.
"You're all going to Ashlyn's party on Friday, right?" Amy whispered behind me, and I leaned back in my chair to hear better. "Of course, wouldn't miss it." I said back, knowing Ashlyn's parties always gets epic. I looked back to see Alex not completely convinced to go, and immediately turned around in my seat. "It's gonna be awesome. Come on, Lex." I started, smiling towards her. "It won't be as fun without you." I added, and her face now formed a smile. "Fine, I'll go." She gave in, and I did a satisfied fist pump in the air.
"Anything you wanna add, Ms Heath?" The teachers voice spoke my name and I quickly turned around. I felt my cheek burn slightly as most of the eyes in the room were on me.
"No." I said simple, looking down in my desk. "Alright then, but please wake up O'Hara, will you?" She continued, hinting towards the sleeping girls next to me. I hit Kelley's arm lightly, and she flew her head up. "What-What happened?" Kelley sounded half asleep still, and looked somewhat like that as well. "Glad you could join us, Kelley." The teacher said sarcastic, and went back to teaching the class.

The time went slow, but eventually the bell rang and we were free to go. Amy, Alex, Cheney and I all had a free period so we decided to head down to the pitch to play some soccer before lunch.

Christen's POV

I was for sure not having the best week. Moving to a completely new place, leaving all my friends behind and having to start a new school my freshman year of high school wasn't how I wanted things to go. Things was going great back home, I did good in school and I was the captain at my old team. I hate saying old team. Well, at least these new people seem nice. There's a couple other new kids on the team, but they seem to known each other from beforehand so it's difficult to get to know them.
This one girl though, Julie, she's been really nice. I gotta admit the first time I saw her I was literally blown away by how beautiful she was, and then I saw her play and she's a goddam wall in that backline. We've talked a few times and hit it off, but she's always with those two other new girls, Morgan and Lindsey, it seems.

"Press?" Someone spoke behind me and I turned around to see a familiar blond. "Julie, hi." I tried my best not to smile too eager, but hers was so easy to get affected by. "Our jersey's came today, Jill asked me to give it to you." She smiled, handing me a jersey with my name on it. "Thanks." I smiled back, holding up the jersey in front of me. "They look good." I added, not wanting the conversation to end. Julie nodded, still having that contagious smile on her face. "How's your schedule looking? I was thinking I'd go try it out." Julie looked at me with hopeful eyes, and I was definitely down to skip my class to join her. "It just got cleared out." I joked, picking up my bag. "You don't have to-" Julie started, but I interrupted her. "I'm the new kid, the teachers cut me some slack." I assured her it was okay, before starting to walk towards the door. "You coming?" I smiled, before Julie ran after me.

(A/N: just a little intro to some of the ships of the story. Talex is possible (haven't decided yet, what do you think?), but Krashlyn and Presston is on. There's some O'Solo waiting in the next chapters.
Hope you enjoy:)
