Alex's POV

Monday morning classes, never fun. But I had Tobin next to me, looking good as always, and my friends around me so it wasn't all that bad.

"Is it just me, or is Kelley giving Kling a cold shoulder?" Tobin leaned closer to me and whispered, as she was hinting over at the table a few desks away. Kelley and Kling sat together, they were both late and it was the only available space.

"She totally does." I whispered back, looking at how Kelley was completely ignoring the other girl. She was on her phone, smiling at something on it, positioned slightly away from Kling so she couldn't see.

"Something funny to you, Kelley?" Out teacher suddenly addresses Kelley, before walking over to her and hinting for her phone. Kelley looks up, confused expression, before sighing deeply and handing it over.
"You'll get it back after class." The teacher ended, before starting her lecture again. Kelley leaned back in her chair, arms crossed over her chest. She did not look happy.

Class ended eventually and Kelley was the first to stand up and escape the room. I decided to chase after her, as Tobin was in deep conversation with Cheney about something.

"Kels, wait up!" I hurried after her, and she stopped a little down the hall. She didn't turn around right away.
"Are you okay?" I asked, as I reached out for her shoulder. She quickly turned around, fake smile plastered on her face.
"Yeah, how was your weekend?" She was keeping something from me, and it was so obvious. I could tell something was wrong.
"Kelley, is everything okay with Hope?" I started, hoping I would find the sore subject. Kelley smiled at the sound of that name, a genuine smile.
"It is." She was sincere. She's not lying. That is not the problem.

"You gotta help me out here, Kels." I was rather begging now. I hesitated to continue, but I needed to get her to talk to me.
"Is this about Kling and Moe?" I took a chance, and she reacted to that question. She got that nervous expression on her face, like she knew I was onto her now.

There was a pause, then a sigh.
"She's moving on." Kelley close to whispered. "I know that shouldn't bother me, and it doesn't really. I mean I want her to be happy more then anything." She mumbled some words, not making too much sense.
"Then what?" I tried to make her keep going.

"It freaking took her less then a week to move on. I get that we weren't serious or anything, but did I really mean that little? Am I that easy to get over?" Kelley opened up now, and I was starting to understand what was going on in her head. This wasn't about Hope at all, or Moe and Kling, not really. This is about her, and her insecurities.

"That girl was broken over you, Kelley. But it doesn't matter. You got a girl that's crazy about you now, don't neglect her because you're stuck in a past that don't matter anymore." I tried my best to find the words without being too harsh. Kelley needed to hear this, she can't ruin things with Hope, not after all of this.
She let out a sigh, much like a sigh of relief.

"I know you're right. I need to stop this. I gotta talk to Hope, don't I?" Kelley agreed, and she already looked more calm.
"I also got to apologize to Kling." She added, knowing she had been somewhat of an ass this morning. I nodded in agreement.

Moe's POV

"So your car was not in your driveway Sunday morning." Lindsey started speaking the second our teacher told us to pack up our things. I gave her a confused look, as I tried to gather my stuff quickly.
"You're stalking me now?" I joked back, trying to ignore what she was implying.

"Kling already told me, so stop avoiding it." She didn't hold back, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "Of course she did." I mumbled.
"Not sure how much I like you two being besties." I added, knowing I deep down love it.

"So what's the deal? I wanna hear your side." Lindsey kept digging. I sighed.
"My side? What's her side?" I turned it around.
"I don't kiss and tell." She joked back, and I was just shaking my head in response.

"We're going to prom. As a date." I gave in, knowing she's stubborn as hell and won't tell me anyways. She smiled.
"And?" I frowned at her. She just kept looking at me, wanting me to continue.
"And, I guess I like her." I admitted, knowing that's what she wanted to hear. She gave me another pleased smile.

"Good to know." She said quickly, before taking her things and walking towards the door.
"Hey, Linds- don't walk away from me. You're gonna tell me what she said, right? Lindsey?" I tried my best to gather the rest of my things and run after her, but she was out.

"Hey, stranger." Julie opened her locker next to me, and smiled.
"You don't get to say that, Mrs. Press." I joked back, getting a laugh in return.
"Okay, fair enough." She mumbled as she took out a couple books.

"But everything's good?" She continued, looking slightly more serious. I wasn't sure how much she knew, but she was clearly aware that I was already in a better mood.
"It is. Everything's, great." I meant what I said, and it was a good feeling.
"You? Still swooning?" I asked back, getting that wide smile in return.
"We're official, actually. I got a girlfriend and my dad loves her, can you believe that?" She was so proud of herself, and I loved seeing it.
"Who would've thought that, huh?" I joked, and pushed her playfully in her shoulder.

"But seriously, I'm so happy for you JJ." I truly meant what I said. "Christen is a lucky girl." I added, before giving her a hug.
