Christen's POV

"Chris, let's go." Channing yelled from downstairs, but I wasn't ready. I had turned my closet inside-out, not figuring out what to wear.

"She's gonna think you look great no matter what you wear, come on." Channing appeared in the door, leaning against the frame. I sighed, looking down at my outfit. Black skinny jeans, red flannel over a tank top, is it too basic?
"Fine." I mumbled, giving in to my sister. I decided everyone was probably gonna get drunk anyways, so my outfit didn't matter all that much.

My phone made a sound, and I read the text in my head. 'We're almost there'
I had been texting Julie for the past 24 hours, and we had planned to meet up a couple blocks down from Ashlyn's house. We were also fashionably late, hoping not too many would notice us if we got there once the party was full on. Apparently freshmen are not really invited, so we would be the odd men out.
'I can't wait to see you' Julie added another text, causing me to smile towards my phone.

"Oh gad, is that her again?" Channing rolled her eyes with a smirk on her face. I just smiled at her, before walking past her and down the stairs. She followed shortly, and we finally got out of the house and into the car.
It wasn't that far away, but t was enough for me to get freakishly nervous. I'm pretty sure Channing could tell, cause she was doing everything she could to loosen me up.
"The songs on the radio are okay," Channing started one of my favorite songs of all time, skipping right to my favorite part.
"But my taste in music is your face." We both yelled out in unison, smiling at the goofiness of the situation.
"But it takes someone to come around, to show you how." We continued jamming out to Twenty One Pilots, and I was immediately feeling better. Music helps me in any situation, and my sister knows that. I don't think she really gets it, but it doesn't matter. She knows me and I love that.

"Oh my god, is that her? Which one?" Channing sounded like a giggly teenager when she pulled over, seeing the three girls standing by the side of the road. Julie gave me a small wave, and I couldn't help but smile.
"It's the blond! Damn, well done Chris." Channing continued, jumping to conclusions. I just shook my head at my silly sister, before giving her a friendly smile.
"Thank you for taking me, please don't embarrass me." I said quickly, hoping she would just let me walk out in silence.
She wouldn't.
"Hi, I'm Channing. Christen's sister." I heard Channing speak, as she stepped out of the car. She reached her hand out towards Julie and I immediately jumped out of the car.
"You must be Julie, I've heard great things about you." She continued, smiling to the defender with that smug face of hers.
"Thank you, Chan. We can take it from here." I said towards my sister, trying not to expose just how mad I was. My glare at her did get her to pull back though, still smiling devilish.
"Now you kids be good." Channing joked, patting my head as a little child. I could not be more embarrassed in that moment.

She finally got back in the car, honking at us as she drove away. I let out a sigh, only now looking up to meet the ocean blue eyes looking at me.
"You sister seems cool." Julie smiled, laughing shortly as she said it. Morgan and Lindsey joined in, both nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, sorry about that." I mumbled, trying not to show that it annoyed me. "Don't be, that's what older sisters are for." Julie said causal, making me feel at ease right away.
"I guess." I smiled back now, mirroring hers. "Hi, by the way. You look good." Julie continued, rather obviously checking me out. It made me blush, but I hoped my tanned skin covered it up mostly.

Tobin's POV

"Thanks, Car. See you later." I waved to Carli as she drove off, probably to pick up someone else. She had given me a ride to the party, seeing as she's the designated driver for the night. She usually is.

'I'm here' I texted Alex, having planned to meet outside. The party had obviously already started, and the music was slamming in the walls of the house. Drunk people in and out of cars and towards the house.
'I see you' I read the text from Alex and turned confused around. I then noticed her, just as she was stepping out of a car. I think I saw Jeri driving, but my focus was solely on the beauty now walking towards me.
Damn, Morgan.
"Hi there." She said shyly as she came closer, and I got an even better look. She was wearing a black, short dress, making her legs even longer than usual. She was like taken straight off a runway.
"You look- wow." I didn't know what to say, but she seemed to be okay with the motion of my hands and the wording. I noticed she was slightly blushing, and a huge smile on her face.
"You look great, Tobin."

We walked into the house, and the loud bumping music hit us like a wall. I love music, but this loud only really stress me out. At least when sober.
"Tobsss." Ashlyn yelled my name, sort of, as we entered the kitchen. She was clearly wasted as she stumbled her way over to us and embraced Alex and I in a clumsy hug.
"Hey, Ash." I spoke loud, trying to be heard over the music. It was bearable here in the kitchen. "Where's your girlfriend at?" Alex asked, seeing as Ali was no where to be found.
Ashlyn pulled away from the hug and looked around, seeming slightly confused.
"She's uh, I have no idea." She admitted, smiling at us again. "I should go check though." She added, and started walking the other way.
"Wait!" She suddenly stopped in her tracks, and now grabbed two plastic cups.
She found a bottle from deep inside the counter, clearly not being for everyone. She poured large amounts of the liquid into them.
"Here you go, enjoy." She smiled as she hands us the cups, then took off into the crowd.

"Is this safe?" Alex joked, smelling the mystery drink. She twisted her nose, making a disgusted facial expression.
"Probably not." I joked back, shrugging my shoulders as I took a large sip. The liquor burned down my throat, signalizing it was as expected something definitely not water, as Ashlyn refers to everything alcohol.
Alex laughed as I made a face, then did the same as she tried it.
We both took a couple more sips, knowing this would hit hard once it kicked in.

"Look, the new kids!" Alex said excited, as the four new players of the team walked in.
"Hey, we're the New Kids." I corrected, still deeply holding on to that nickname. Alex just laughed and shook her head at me.
"You're not new anymore, Tobin." She smiled, shrugging her shoulders. "But fine, they're he New 'New Kids'." Alex now corrected herself as well, and a satisfied smile crept on my face.
"Guys, Julie, Christen! Over here." Alex yelled out for the new kids, who definitely looked a little lost. She was always so nice to people, it amazes me honestly.
"Hi." Julie smiled shyly, as they all walked over to us. "So this is the famous house party?" Morgan asked, not looking too impressed.
"You just wait, it'll get epic." I shot in, smiling confident at the players.
"Can I get you ladies anything?" I added, stepping aside to show them the table full of liquor. Alex shot me glare, probably because we had all agreed on not getting them drunk.

"You're here!" HAO suddenly jumped into me, smiling excited towards the younger players. They all looked slightly nervous as Heather moved around to the other side of the table.
"Toby, what manners. You haven't served them anything?" HAO shook her head, staring to mix some stuff together.

"Alex." A somewhat stressed looking Kelley joined the team gathering in the kitchen now. How hard was it supposed to be to get a moment alone with Alex?
"Have you seen Hope?" Kelley asked quickly, looking nervously around. I met Alex's eyes, and we both tried hard not to laugh. Kelley was always so confident and cool, and she had been about this party as well. Now she seemed like a terrified teenager.
"I don't think she's here yet." Alex answered, and as she spoke Kelley took the cup Alex was holding out of her hand. In one swift motion, Kelley poured down the liquid. Before she said anything else, she took off into the crowd.
"It's gonna be a repetition of last time, isn't it?"
