This place is so boring. There is nothing to do but wait for your death. I know we will die soon. The aliens will find us. We can't even live what could be our last moments to the fullest. I want to leave this awful place.
I always wake up first, so Adrian, Cara, Charity, and Paige are all still sleeping. The fact that every day is the same around here might explain why I was so surprised when I came down the stairs this morning to see Jake sitting on the couch.
Trying to be polite, I ask him if he wants anything to eat. "No," he says. Forgetting my attempt at politeness, I say," What are you doing here?" His eyes narrow. "I am not here to see Adrian, I'll tell you that much," he says. " Answer my question," I say, not noticing the gun in his hand. He aims the gun at me. "Only if you answer a few of my questions first," he says. "How much do you know about Eleanor?" he asks to my surprise. How does he know who Eleanor is? "Not much, just that she is a creep," I answer honestly.
He starts to ask another question when Adrian comes down the stairs. As soon as he sees Jake pointing a gun at me, he pulls out a gun of his own. Jake starts to drop his weapon, and Adrian doesn't hesitate. He shoots Jake in the head. Blood starts to pour our of the wound.Jake was an alien. I don't know how I know this is true. He had been hiding in what was supposed to be a safe place to hide from what he was. How did he figure it out? And what did he want to know about Eleanor?
Author's note: Thank you all for reading this! I am sorry that I haven't updated in a while, I had no clue what to write. What did you think about Jake being an alien?
