Adrian leads me through a maze of intricate hallways. Every step we take is one step closer to my death. I am sure of it now. "You are not going to die. We are going to help your sister," Adrian whispers in my ear, as if he could read my mind.
Suddenly, I understand. He is on my side. I trust him. I know I shouldn't, but I do. He is acting like a guard to help me. If someone saw me, a prisoner, walking around here, I would be dead. Since he is supposedly a guard, I am safe.
We stop in front of a pair of bright blue double doors. Adrian unlocks the door and leads me inside. "This is the control room. If you want her to know who you are, we have to hack into the main computer and override the entire system. Everyone will remember again. It won't be easy, but fortunately, I have the password." he whispers. He tells me the plan and gives me the password. We are ready.
Author's note: I am sorry this chapter is so short, and there is a cliffhanger. I am trying to make it have at least 40 chapters, but it might have to end sooner. Either way, there is not much left of Forgotten. Comment if you want a sequel, if not many people comment, I might not write a sequel.
