Frank

Frank was in the middle of a fight with the enemy when the world behind him exploded. He looked up at Hazel for an instant, when he was yanked into darkness.

He woke in a dark cavern underground. The curved stone walls were lined with green torches.

A green tube of energy stood around Frank. He touched it and his hand fell back from the prison wall with a shock.

A woman walked in through one of the long tunnels on Franks left. Her skin was white, her tunic was brown. Her eyes swirled glowing green.

"Gaea." Frank hissed through clenched teeth.

"Hello, Frank. Did you miss me?"

"Not very."

Gaea smirked and leaned on her right leg. "I don't care. Because I am nearly awake. All I need is a boost of power to my former self. And that equation, does not involve you."

Frank hesitated. "... I'm not your sacrifice?"

"No." Gaea walked over to the wall. "My sacrifice is almost here."

She pressed her palm against the wall. The stone rumbled and burst into dust. Rocks tumbled down the wall into floor. Gaea reached in and grabbed someone's arm.

Hazel slipped out of the the rubble and fell onto the floor. Gaea held a steel grip on Hazel's arm.

A bead of frozen sweat stopped on Franks head. Gaea took Hazel's pulse, and threw her head into the rock wall.

"Don't touch her." He growled. He tried to change shape into something to knock down the field around him. But his talent was missing.

"Let her go!" Frank demanded. "You dot have to do this! Take me!"

Gaea smirked. "You can't replace her. I need a boy and a girl. Who would you offer up? Reyna? Or maybe Piper? Calypso can't be doing too well. But she would make since."

"You stay away from her. And Hazel!"

"Well," Gaea let Hazel drop limp onto the ground. "I think she could use a reunion before I release her from her state of panic."

Gaea repeated the wall crumbling. She pulled out a bruised Latino boy.

"Leo!" Frank cried.

Oh my gods! He was supposed to be dead! Frank was confused.

"Don't hurt him. No! Don't you-"

"I'll do what I want. An I wouldn't let you take his place even if you could."

"If... If I could?"

Gaea smiled. "I was going to use you. You and Hazel, you each stood so close to the gap it was perfect. But she evaded me. And we both tried to pull you in opposite directions. Our powers collided."

Frank looked at his hands. They glowed green like everything around him.

"She got your body. I got your soul." She snapped her fingers. The twin Giants appeared by her side. "And I will use this to my advantage."

The twin giants wrapped Leo in chains head to toe. Around his shins, his ankles, knees, thighs, biceps, everywhere.

They put two simple chains on each of Hazels wrists. They attached the other ends of the chains to the ceiling. The bonds were so long she laid her hands comfortably on the floor by her head.

Frank couldn't think of what to do. There was nothing Gaea wanted more than to take revenge and be fully awake. He would never talk her out of this.
