Leo

"Okay," Leo said as he approached Will and Jason. "I got through to a Violet. Percy made an escape attempt about a week ago."

Jason tried to look up from his position, but he hurt his back. Will put his head back down.

"Do you think he woke up again?" Will asked.

"Yes," Leo said. "He nearly killed himself trying to stay awake. Chaos is the only thing keeping him alive. Chaos would never send Percy out to overdose himself without putting the campers in his path."

Jason mumbled something into the bandages.

"Stay put," Will ordered.

"Percy is being kept under constant watch, but Chaos has..."

Leo knelt down so that only Jason and Will could hear him.

Piper and Bianca didn't notice.

"... Chaos has been visiting the camp, he's trying to get a hold of Ruin's location through Annabeth. Apparently he had a thing for her..."

"Wonderful," Jason mumbled. "I hate both of them."

Leo didn't get it. "Hate both of who?"

"Ruin, Percy; they both suck."

Leo and Will made awkward eye contact.

"Horrible taste in men."

"Percy has been brainwashed." Will reminded him.

"And Ruin's a great guy—" Leo groaned.

"You know who he is right?" Will asked. "You were the cheif Violet."

"What?" Jason demanded.

"Oh, right." Leo winced. "I forget that you missed everything in prison..."

"Is everything okay?" Piper asked, standing right behind Leo.

"Yes, everything's fine," Leo said.

"Didn't you know that Leo was cheif Violet?"

"Yes," Piper knelt down by Jason. "Please stay still. Your back is really hurt."

"I thought a Violet was an Elite spy?" Jason mumbled, his thumbs tracing the line on Piper's jeans.

"They are." Leo said, trying to cut off the conversation.

Bianca laughed and stood up. Leo clenched his jaw. He knew that Bianca could be very manipulative when she wanted to be. Especially with their current Sustenance problem.

"Leo doesn't want you to know that he left you for Ruin and his gang. And that when he returned, he was spying on the camp within them for Ruin."

Leo's hands shook. "That's not what happened."

Piper put her arm protectively around Jason.

"Bianca is still on Sustenance—" Leo started.

"You are too!"

"—And the Knights have always been a little tense on the subject of Ruin."

"Whose fault was that? Leo... Our leader, who couldn't catch him. You were a Violet for him."

"Hmm?" Jason hummed.

"Careful," Piper and Will warned together.

"I thought Percy was your leader." He said anyways.

"He is," Bianca said.

Leo could feel the heat rising in his hands, threatening to catch fire.

"When was Leo?" Jason asked, his head buried in the soft cushion Will had made for him. Because of this, he couldn't see the tension of the group above him.
