Meredith woke up and did her normal morning routine, her entire run she thought about Derek. She just couldn't stop thinking about him. She had to take her car to the shop just 3 blocks from the school that morning for an oil change. She just had to drop it off and then she would pick it up during her lunch break, maybe she wouldn't dump coffee on anyone this morning. She kissed Molly on the head and locked up the house and started for the shop.

Once she arrived at S&S Auto she parked her black Camry and walked inside to the front desk. "Mark Sloan, how can I help you?" "Umm, yes I'm scheduled for a-" she stopped as she saw a man with black curly hair. He turned around and "Meredith?" Derek said puzzled. "Umm, yeah-uh hi Derek," Meredith said nervously. "Wait, is this?" Mark said grinning at Derek. "Yeah," Derek said walking over to Meredith who was still shocked. "I was scheduled for an oil change by the way Mark," Meredith said trying to keep her cool. "Yeah, I'll let Derek take care of that," Mark said raising an eyebrow. "Didn't expect to see you here," Derek said leaning against the front counter. "Yeah, well me either," she said trying hard not to make eye contact. "I'd like to take you out for dinner sometime." Derek said. "Like-like a date?" Meredith said. "Yeah-a date" he said grinning. "How about tonight?" Meredith said blushing. "Pick you up at 6?" he asked. "Yeah that's fine," she said biting her lip. "I'll see you then," Derek said. "Yeah, goodbye Derek," Meredith said the door shutting behind her.

What just happened? I take my car in for an oil change and leave with a date that I just happened to spill coffee on yesterday. You can't be distracted by this all day. You have students you need to teach. Keep it together.

Damnit she's hot. She's this perfect, blonde haired, green eyed, gorgeous woman. I can't believe I just hooked up with her. Well, I guess we'll find out where this is going tonight...

Meredith's class got settled in, "Good morning everyone. I see that you all are excited to get this day going as loud as it was this morning," Meredith said. Morgan and Anna made suspicious faces at each other, "Is there something you two ladies would like to share this morning?" Meredith asked curious. "Umm, no" the girls were both quick to say. "Okay. moving on then. Can everyone pull out their math books please and turn to page 52" Meredith said walking over to her desk to grab her book out of the drawer. "Aaahhh!" Meredith screamed as the class erupted into laughter. "Why is there peanut butter covering my book?" Meredith asked walking over to the sink. The entire class is silent. "Whoever did this needs to fess up before your punishment is any worse, I'm giving you a chance." Meredith said sternly.

"I-I did it Miss Grey." Anna said. "I helped," Morgan said. They were both looking at the ground. "During our morning recess I need the both of you to stay inside please," Meredith said returning to her desk. "Okay, everyone open your books and let's get to work," she said trying to forget what had just happened.

Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring

"S&S Auto Shop, this is Derek speaking," Derek answered the phone as normal. "What the hell did you get Morgan into this time?" Kathleen, Derek's sister yelled over the phone. "I don't know what you're talking about?" Derek laughed. "She apparently put peanut butter in the teacher's drawer. You and Mark did that in school, did you tell her about it?" Kathleen asked. "No, hold on" Derek walked over to Mark, "Did you inform Morgan about peanut butter in the desk drawer by chance?" Derek asked. "No, why?" Mark said. "We didn't do it this time, sorry" Derek told Kathleen. "Must've been her friend then, by the way could you bring Morgan lunch today at school, she won't eat the lunch they are having. Just take her a sandwich or something," Kathleen asked. "Yeah, I'll take it up there no problem." Derek replied. "Hey Mark. in an hour we need to take Morgan lunch. You wanna go?" Derek hollered from inside. "Yeah, sure" Mark responded. "Wait, Meredith needs to get her car at lunch," Mark defended. "What if I stay and you take Morgan lunch?" Derek asked. "That's fine." Mark said.
