"We don't need another werewolf!" Zack exclaims. I glare at him and Legend tells him to shut up.

"We are not an orphanage Jay," Creed points out.

"I know that," I answer. "She can be useful though, and she has nowhere else to go."

"You already cause enough trouble," Zack mumbles. Legend whacks him on the head and even Jaden smiles a bit.

"I think you should give her a chance," Rain suddenly says.

Creed looks at her surprise. She smiles at him and he sighs. He never could resist Rain.

"Fine," Creed says. "We will give her a chance, but she has to be an assassin like the rest of us if she wants to stay."

I debate my current choices and decide that this was the best chance I was going to get. "Deal."

"Good," Creed says. "We leave tomorrow."

"Alpha," Silver calls out in her sleep. She was certainly a restless sleeper. She had been turning over and talking in her sleep nonstop. I feel her forehead. Her fever was nearly gone.

"No!" She screams. I shake her awake and she gasps, looking around wildly.

"It's ok," I murmur, rocking her back and forth. "It's ok."

She looks up at me and, as if she had just figured out who I was, says, "Jay."

"Yes?"

"Alpha used to do that."

I don't reply and continue to rock her until she falls back to sleep.

I hug Kotami tightly, knowing that this would probably be the last time I will ever see her. "Goodbye sister."

"Goodbye," she replies, wiping a tear quickly away. Then she smirks at Jay. "Take good care of her."

Jay raises his eyebrows but doesn't answer. I roll my eyes and assure her that I will be just fine.

"Mhm," she says sarcastically. "Nothing is wrong with letting a boy take care of you for once."

"Just because I let him take care of me doesn't mean that I like him," I mutter. "If that was how it worked then Alpha and I would've ended up together."

"Honestly, I expected that to happen," she giggles.

I give her a fake exasperated look and lightly punch her shoulder. She laughs. "I'm going to miss you."

I hug her a final time. "I'm going to miss you too."

"Silver we need to go!" Jay shouts from the truck.

"Coming!" I exclaim, releases my hold on my sister. I hop into the truck and watch my sister become smaller as we drive farther away.
