It took me a while to get the truck. I'm sure that Creed would not be happy once he found out that I had taken it. I wondered how long this rescue was going to take. Creed would also be very unhappy if I disappeared for several days. One day was fine; multiple days was not fine.

Why I was doing this? I wasn't completely sure. Alpha and I haven't gotten along since he found at what my profession was. The fact that I had also attacked him once did not help. For some reason though, I felt like I should help. At least Silver had been good company until Alpha had ruined that.

"That took a while," Alpha states.

I glare at him. "Why don't you try stealing a truck from a group of assassins?"

"No thanks," he mutters.

"Good, now hop in and stick your head out the window," I say, throwing a blanket at him.

"May I remind you that you can also stick your head out the window," Alpha points at, wrapping the blanket around him to cover himself and hopping into the passenger seat.

"I'm not a very good driver by the way," I say, making him nervous.

"Great," Alpha mutters.

"So place your big nose out the window and tell me where I'm supposed to go."

Obeying, Alpha half-shifts and sticks his head out the window. "Go North."

Finally, we arrive at a large warehouse. I was surprised to find that it looked exactly like my home.

"Now what?" Alpha asks giving the building a worried look.

"I'm going to cut the power," I declare. Alpha gives me a look of surprise as I continue. "I live in a building exactly like this, so I know where to find the electric box. You will have to get Silver and yourself out before they power up the backup generator though."

"Of course!" Alpha exclaims. "The hunters can't see in the dark, but we can if we shift."

"Let's get to it then," I say and we make our way towards the entrance.
