"So, after you get your daily check up, can we go do some training?" I asked, skipping alongside Obi who was whistling as we made our way to the infirmary. "Unless you don't feel in a stable condition..."
Just before his check up, we had breakfast with Hideki- well more like brunch because I woke up at noon; but my appetite just wasn't there. Especially after watching the two pigs gobble down their food like there was no tommorow, I didn't even feel like drinking my tea after that.
"Sure, I feel fine. It might be best to ask 'Little Red' first though." He yawned, stretching his arms as our boots clicked against the stone path across the stone pathway. My lips automatically form an involuntary grin while walked the courtyard, my favourite place in the castle.
Once both of his arms dropped back down to his sides, I linked my left arm with his right, smiling warmly the whole time. A thin shade of pink dusted across his cheeks which confused me for a second but he brushed it off returning a bright smile.
"For someone who is hungover, you seem to be very gleeful." Obi chuckled and I shrugged letting go of his arm.
"Well it's nice to have you back, you know? I missed you." I looked at him and then realised what I said. "Um- b-but only a bit."
"Yeah right, Miss Crybaby." He teased and I punched his arm playfully and then folded my arms as we reached the back entrance to the infirmary.
Through the window, I noticed Shirayuki standing while Ryuu sitting on an opposite desk. He was grinding some green substance in a white pestle and mortar, while Shirayuki was writing down something in a notebook.
Obi knocked on the glass door, and the confused redhead looked up and then waved opening the door once she noticed it was us.
Standing in the doorframe she smiled and greeted us. "Obi, I'm so glad to see you're up again." She smiled and he beamed back, chucking while scratching his head.
Obi's face blushed in the same way he did when he was looking at me and I watched from a side view as they stared at each other for a bit. Oh my god, stop this. This is painful to just watch.
Still, it's kind of sad how his feelings for her aren't returned. Yet he's learned to accept it throughout all of this.
A sense of anger washed over me and I swallowed nervously, trying to process what it still was.
"You feeling any better, Yui?" Shirayuki asked, waking me up from my trance.
"Oh yeah, just fine. Bit of a headache but no vomiting luckily. Thanks for the painkillers!" I laughed awkwardly and gave her a thumbs up before edging away from the two.
"Well, I gotta go! Bye!" I zoomed off, leaving them behind with puzzled expressions and zipped round a bend and to the other side of the castle.
Breathing heavily, not from the running, but from nervousness. My heart was beating uncontrollably and I swallowed shaking my head to try and wake myself up.
Leaning my back against the castle wall, I tried to regain my breath, but it just wouldn't return.
Shortness of breath..
Heart racing uncontrollably..
Face as red as a tomato..
Feeling like my stomach will explode..?
"There's only one cause for this." I declared and stared at Kiki who was watching me while drinking out of teacup. "I'm allergic to Obi!"
Kiki raised an eyebrow while Mitsuhide and Zen burst out laughing, uncontrollably. I stared at them as they howled with laughter and I spotted Lord Haruka passing by outside the window with his eyebrow twitching.
