"Miss, you really have matured." Naomi, one of my maids, was smiling and helping me put on a dress that my mother had selected for me to wear. "You're so grown up now.."

I smiled and looked in the mirror that had a pure gold frame. "I mean it has been eleven years." I turned to her. "Age has done well on you Naomi, you still look nineteen." I laughed and she grinned and shook her head in disagreement.

"I still can't believe that I'm thirty now. I feel so old.." She giggled and I chuckled lightly. "I've been working here for so long, Miss (Y/N), you were only a child the last I saw you."

My expression showed how confused I wad about my feeling, and I could tell Naomi noticed as she fixed my hair into a beautiful bun with a couple of red roses in the bun too.

I sighed and glanced at my reflection once more and then my window. "Your highness, is there something bothering you?"

I smiled briefly and shook my head. "Nothing that should distract me too much."

With a disgusting fake smile plastered to my face for a few seconds, I had to release it but in return revealing my doleful expression.

A knock was heard from the dressing room door, and Naomi adjusted my hair once more, placing a few roses in it and then letting go.

She smiled gracefully and looked at me. "That must be your bodygaurd, we should get going."

I nodded and thanked her for everything as she opened the door for me to reveal Hideki. His red hair covered his eyes and he looked as if he had seen a ghost.

He was wearing some uniform-fancy clothes type get up that the castle must have given him, and I'm sure he wasn't enjoying wearing it. I couldn't wait to Obi's face while wearing it.

With a swift motion he grabbed me by the arm. "We need to talk."

As he dragged me from the dressing room to a nearby balcony, I turned my head to Naomi, mentally screaming for help but she gave me a quick and reassuring nod.

"H-hold on!" I picked up the ends of my dress so it wouldn't get dirty and finally he loosened his death grip around my arm.

I grabbed my throbbing arm, but luckily the pain went away quite quickly before I turned to him. "What's wrong with you?"

"Do you like him?"

"What?"

"Do you like that pathetic green-eyed cat monster?" He growled lowly and I raised an eyebrow.

"Technically his eyes are yellow-"

Hideki scoffed and turned to me. "Just answer the goddamn question." Bitterness began to radiate from his voice and I took a few steps backwards but he just edged forward. This continued until my back hit the wall, where he placed a hand a couple of inches away from me.

"Why should it matter to you?" I snapped. "Um I- why would you ask me that?"

"And what the hell are we doing in a bloody castle huh? Who is this 'Princess (Y/N)' that everyone seems to love?!"

"That's none of your damn business." I hissed and tried to push him away, but Hideki always has been much stronger that me.

"Tell me who she is?"

"What do you think, Hideki? I'm sure you heard that Kalendra Castle burnt down eleven years ago. Everyone from various kingdoms were aware! I couldn't just waltz into buildings and say my name is (Y/N)! What if everyone found out? I had no choice in the matter, I had to protect my past."

Hideki placed his hands on my arms. "Did you not trust us?"

"Shut up, and get the hell off me!" I shouted and attempted to push him off me but he wouldn't budge.

Angrily, I punched  with half of my force and he stumbled backwards, clutching his stomach in agony. I hissed like a cat and then sprinted off, twisting through the passageways of the castle hallways. I slipped past various different servants, who barely noticed by my speed.

I pushed open the door to the dressing room, and closed it behind me. Breathing heavily, I turned around and stared at the quiet room around me. Tranquility filled within me, until I turned my head and noticed a familiar figure through the stained glass doors. Back turned, he stared out the window watching the sun drown in the horizon, it's rays of light glimmering in the darkness of the clouds faded and the pale moon peeked at us from the stars.

My body froze, as if turning into ice once I was faced with the man in front of me. Debating in my head whether or not to walk up to him, I felt goosebumps beginning to appear on my skin. The coldness I unwillingly faced, was not from the cold, but from nervousness.

Making up my mind I tiptoed through the room and walked towards the glass doors, the light from the stars shining through the windows and resting on my shoulders. Silently pushing it open, his gaze was kept firmly on the view from the balcony in front of him.

"Obi." I called his name and he looked over his shoulder at me, yellow eyes staring at me for a couple moments. He glanced back at the landscape in front of him and then straightened his figure, properly turning around to face me.

One hand on the silver railing, he smiled briefly, as if forgetting the incidents that had happened earlier today. I felt my face turn a bright red as I walked towards him, each step it would turn even redder.

"This  the second time I've seen you in a dress." He raised an eyebrow. "It doesn't suit you."

"Well thanks for the compliment." I pouted and felt the awkwardness between us begin to disappear for a few moment. The tension began to build as soon as I thought that, to an uncontrollable level. So much so, I couldn't turn and face him at all.

"Hey, about earlier today." He began and I stayed silent, looking away. "Sorry about that. I don't know what that was, it doesn't mean anything anyway right?" He laughed and immediately I felt my heart snap a tiny bit.

It didn't mean anything to you?

Well it meant something to me..

"Yeah." I lied through my teeth and we stayed silent for another few long seconds. Absorbed in the scent and murmur of the night approaching, he still kept his eyes firmly on me for a few moments. I could almost feel his burning vision staring at me.

I placed my hands on my head shaking it, but this action didn't make me forget what just happened with Hideki, and earlier today with Obi. I swallowed and I heard Obi say my name in utter confusion of what I was doing, but I didn't stop until he placed his hands on my head.

"What the hell are you doing, (Y/N)?" He asked and I jumped backwards in shock of hearing that name.

"H-how do y-"

"Well since everyone calls you that, I might as well too." He looked away. "It's your real name, so I'm sure you'd prefer if I called you that anyway."

Silence returned to the atmosphere and I edged backwards. "You're mad at me aren't you?"

He thought for a moment. "No, not really. I guessed from the start that Yui couldn't be your real name,  I mean it was the same with Torou. I'm sure that isn't her real name either." I nodded and he sighed. "But don't you have an appointment with your father?"

I re-read this chapter and it's really crappy, but I have to keep it this way as it is quite a bit of a big chapter, things will get better in the next chapter. Although for the next part I have an OVA planned which will be released today as well. New chapters coming in soon. x
