Tying her hair out of her eyes, Liliana focused on packing up the last of her things for the move; she was surprised how things had changed for them in the past couple of days since their first scan.

More than once she had caught Cristiano staring at the image that they had brought home with them; he always had a silly smile on his face and it warmed her heart how much he already loved their baby.

"How are we doing in here?" Cristiano asked stepping into the bedroom, he had been slowly helping Liliana move out of her apartment and into his home; he was looking forward to having her with him more than he had in the past.

Cristiano couldn't recall the last time that they had lived under the same roof, it had been years and it was back when they had lived in Manchester; the move to Madrid meant that they had to separate or attract attention to their relationship.

"I am nearly done," Liliana replied with a smile, she was just packing up the last of her things and Frankie was already waiting for her at Cristiano's home; she was looking forward to relaxing after all of this.

The Norwegian Ridgeback had been playing with Marosca and Abelhinha when the couple had left the house, the three dogs had seemed happy with the new arrangements.

Cristiano leant against the door frame and watched Liliana, he smiled a little at the idea that they were actually moving in together; they were engaged and they would be having a baby in the New Year.

Things had never looked so good before and Cristiano hoped that things would stay like this when they told their parents about their relationship.

Setting down the bag that he was holding on the floor, Cristiano wrapped his arms around Liliana and held her close; he kissed his fiancée unable to believe that this was actually happening.

He hadn't thought that they would be able to make this step yet and would be forced to actually wait until he retired from football to take the next step with her; the last thing that Cristiano ever expected to happen was this.

The idea that he was going to be a father in April made Cristiano smile, he couldn't wait and he was sure that everyone would be happy for them when they found out.

Cristiano was ensuring that no one knew about the changes in his life just yet, he wanted to keep Liliana safe and he would do anything to make that happen.

"This is nice," Cristiano whispered kissing Liliana, he was happy and for the first time in a long time that things didn't feel like they were going to fall apart.

He had spent years fearing that his relationship would collapse because he was determined to keep Liliana safe from the media; he didn't want people getting close to her and hurting her or the baby now.

Liliana nodded her head, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back; she rarely got to spend time here especially during the season was playing.

However, before they could get any further his phone started to ring making the couple pull apart; Cristiano groaned when he realised that his mother was calling him.

"I'll go find something to eat," Liliana murmured softly, she gave him a small kiss before quietly leaving the bedroom so that he could speak with his mother.

The last thing that they wanted to do was alert their parents to a change in their lives before they could arrive; the sooner that they had been told about what was going on the better.

"Olá mãe," Cristiano mumbled sitting down on the bed, he didn't know what was going to happen when they told their parents about their relationship but he hoped that it would be okay.

Looking through Cristiano's fridge as she tried to find something to eat, Liliana wrinkled her nose at the sight of all the healthy treats that were packed inside and with fitness shakes that he had.

Things were certainly going to have to change now that they were living together, Liliana wanted things that she enjoyed and her diet was going to change a little especially now that she was pregnant.

The doctor had given her a list of foods and drinks that she could and couldn't eat while she was pregnant, Liliana wanted to make sure that she did everything right for her pregnancy.

A smile formed on her face at the thought of the little person that was growing inside of her, she might have only been about eleven weeks but Liliana was sure it would fly-by.

Arms wrapped around Liliana's middle making her jump, Cristiano chuckled kissing her neck and looking into the fridge; he was going to have to change his shopping habits to include things that she might like.

"What did your mãe want?" Liliana asked turning around to look at Cristiano, she hoped that everything was alright and she dreaded to think what was going to happen if something was wrong with Dolores.

A few years earlier Dolores had suffered from cancer and she had regular check-ups to make sure that she was still clear of the disease; Liliana didn't want anything to happen to Cristiano's mother.

"Just to tell me that they'll be here in two weeks," Cristiano murmured softly, it was a slight delay from what had been planned but it also gave Liliana time to adjust to their new living arrangement and would be at the end of her first trimester.

Things would be clearer by then and Cristiano was sure that his mother would be thrilled to learn that they were going to have a baby together; she would have another grandchild to spoil soon.

Liliana nodded her head, she was looking forward to having her father and Dolores visited even if they were going to be a little later than expected; she rested her head against Cristiano's with a smile.

"How do you think they will take it?" Liliana asked brushing her fingers through his hair, she hoped it would go well but a small doubt bubbled to life inside of her.

There was no denying that her father would be upset that he had been lied to for six years and wouldn't want to speak to her anymore; he had every right to be upset about being kept in the dark.

Liliana hoped her father would understand why they had taken the route that they had; they had wanted to protect their relationship and not face the pressure that Cristiano's friends did.

"They'll be upset but that would will be okay," Cristiano mumbled closing his eyes, he didn't want argue with anyone about his relationship and the fact that he was going to be a father in a few months.

There was going to be a time in the near future where they would have to admit their relationship to the world and Cristiano hoped when that time came that they would have their families support.

Liliana cuddled into Cristiano's arms, she closed her eyes and prayed that he was right; she didn't know what she would do if her father didn't support them.

It was going to be hard enough when her mother found out about this and tried to ruin the happy life that she had built with Cristiano because she wanted to control every aspect of her daughters lives.

Things were going to be tense until they knew for certain that they had Dolores and Roberto's support in their relationship.
