Chapter Thirty-Four: The Wedding Day

Waking up the morning of her wedding, Liliana couldn't fight the smile that formed on her face as she looked out of the window that was across from the bed.

The brunette lay quietly for a moment before she climbed out of bed and wrapped her bath robe before she headed downstairs to the kitchen.

Liliana smiled as she spotted her father muttering to himself as she stepped into the kitchen, she knew that he was probably going to cry when he gave her away today.

“Mañana Papai,” Liliana greeted making her father turn around and smile at her, he blinked back tears as Natasha moved about making some breakfast for the bridal party.

Liliana smiled at her best friend as she moved to sit down as Nadia made her a cup of coffee, they knew that the dress would be delivered soon and they were excited to see that dress that Cristiano had chosen for Liliana.

“I can’t believe you are getting married… I mean, you’re a mummy and now you are getting married,” Danielle said making Liliana roll her eyes as Stephanie stepped into the kitchen, the younger brunette looked a little pale and it was clear that she was suffering from morning sickness.

Nadia handed the young brunette some crackers before she moved to make sure that everyone had everything that they needed for the wedding; Liliana licked her lips nervously as she looked at her father holding Caleb, who was a little grumpy at being woken up early.

“So the hair stylist and make-up artist will be here in the next hour, then your dress should arrive around an hour after that,” Natasha said making Liliana nod her head, she couldn't wait to finally see the dress that Cristiano had chosen for her.

Liliana licked her lips as she looked at herself in the mirror, she smiled as she trailed her hands down the ivory A-line square 3/4-sleeves wedding dress that she was wearing paired with white heeled sandals and an ivory elbow wedding bridal veil with lace applique edge.

“You look hermonsa,” Danielle said as she stared at her friend, no one could believe that Cristiano had picked this out on his own; it looked simply beautiful on Liliana and they could see why he had chosen it.

“I can’t believe that he choose this dress on his own,” Natasha said looking in awe of her best friend, who she was suddenly slightly jealous of; she hadn’t expected Cristiano to actually be able to pull this off and now it seemed like he had.

Roberto popped his head into the room where Liliana was getting ready, his eyes paused at the sight of his eldest daughter; tears filled his eyes as he looked at her.

“You look bonita,” he said as he stepped into the room, his eyes focused on his daughter as she gave him a small smile; she couldn't believe that today was her wedding day.

Roberto cleared his throat as he wiped his eyes as Stephanie entered the room with Nicolas, she was holding Caleb who was a little calmer now that he’d had a little nap while Liliana had prepared for her wedding.

“The cars are here,” Roberto said as he moved towards his eldest daughter, who took a deep breath as she tried to keep herself calm; she knew that in a few hours that she would be returning to this house as Mrs. Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Perez.

Standing in one of the private rooms of the La Quinta Navalafuente, Liliana took a nervous breath as she waited for her wedding to start; the brunette looked at herself in the mirror again and grinned.

The brunette couldn't believe the amount of work that Cristiano had done for their wedding day, she hadn’t expected him to pull all of this off and now in a few moments time they would be married.
