Cristiano grinned as he burped Caleb, the little boy was now two days old and Dr. Tomas had told the couple that it was now okay for both mother and son to finally return home.

Liliana was dressed a pink boxy T-shirt and tight flashing used jeans paired with western heeled tan ankle boots so that she could travel home, she smiled as she watched Cristiano with Caleb; it was her new favourite sight in the world.

“Que?” the Portuguese asked when he spotted his fiancée watching him with a small smile; she shook her head as she put her nightie into the back to go home.

Cristiano grinned as he held his son, he couldn't believe that he was a father to something so beautiful; Caleb was something that had changed his way of seeing the world.

“You look so happy,” Liliana said making Cristiano look at her, he grinned before he looked down at Caleb again.

“He’s perfect,” the Portuguese said making Liliana nod as she moved to sit next to him on the hospital bed, she kissed her fiancé as she ran her fingers through her son’s fine hair.

“Obrigado,” Cristiano said making Liliana smile at him, she allowed him to kiss her again before he handed Caleb carefully to her as Dr. Tomas walked into the room with paperwork.

Liliana flashed her, a smile as she held Caleb close, she couldn't believe that she was finally taking her little boy home; the brunette was looking forward to sleeping in her bed again.

“Your paperwork is all sorted, you can both go home,” Dr. Tomas said as she handed Liliana’s and Caleb’s paperwork to Cristiano, who put it safely into his back-pack.

Liliana smiled as she held Caleb as Cristiano picked up the baby carrier that they had brought with them to take their son home.

“You okay?” Liliana asked as Cristiano stretched, he had slept in the hospital chair next to her bed since she’d been admitted into hospital; the Portuguese didn't want to miss anything when it came to his son.

“I’m fine… can’t wait to sleep in our bed again,” Cristiano said as his fiancée settled Caleb into the baby carrier, the brunette flashed a smile at him in agreement as she fastened their son into the carrier. Liliana looked at Cristiano as he watched their son for a moment.

“I doubt we’ll be getting much sleep when he’s crying in the early hours of the morning,” the brunette teased making the footballer chuckle and nod his head in agreement. Liliana licked her lips as she felt Cristiano wrap his arms around her waist and hold her to him.

“How are we giving the press the slip?” she murmured as Cristiano pressed a kiss to her neck.

The world was now aware that Liliana had given birth and the press wanted a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo’s newborn son; something that unsettled the footballer slightly about what they would do to get that picture.

Roberto cooed as he lifted Caleb out of the baby carrier, he grinned as he held his grandson close while Liliana carefully took a seat; she was lucky enough not to have needed many stitches when she’d given birth.

Stephanie stood a little away from the group, who had gathered to welcome her sister and Cristiano home; she didn't feel like she belonged there, she wished that she’d given her father the time of day before Justine had thrown her out.

“He’s so adorable,” Elma cooed at her nephew as she looked at him, the Portuguese couldn't believe that her little brother was a father; she had never thought that she would see the day that Cristiano would be a father and that he’d be engaged.

However seeing him with Liliana and Caleb, it was something that brought a smile to everyone’s lips, it was clear to see that they were made for one another.

Roberto handed Caleb back to Liliana, who rolled her eyes as she slipped out of the room knowing that the baby needed feeding; Cristiano watched her leave making Dolores chuckle at him.

“So the wedding?” Dolores prompted as she sat down on the couch while Cátia headed into the kitchen to put the kettle on; Roberto looked at the footballer who had spent the last three months organising Liliana’s wedding in secret.

“29th of April, we are having it at La Quinta Navalafuente,” Cristiano said making Roberto and Dolores look at him; they wondered what the venue looked at, however he was only telling them stuff that Liliana knew so she wouldn’t learn anything about the wedding.

“Come on Cris… tell us about the big day,” Dolores begged making her youngest son shake his head amused as Liliana walked back into the living room; the footballer gently took Caleb from her.

“Nice try Dolores but if I can’t get anything out of him, I doubt that you’ll be able to,” the brunette said as she glanced at the older woman; while Cristiano held their son close to him.

Cristiano grinned as he watched Liliana settle Caleb down in his crib for the night; he would be staying in his parents’ room for a couple of weeks before they moved him into the nursery, which was down the hall.

“He looks so peaceful,” Cristiano murmured as Liliana climbed back into their bed, it was midnight and now that Caleb was settled down for the night; the couple wanted to spend a little time with each other.

Cristiano kissed Liliana’s lips; he cupped her face at finally being able to touch his fiancée without having to worry about someone walking in on them.

“I love you,” Cristiano said as he pulled back slightly, he glanced over at a sleeping Caleb and smiled at the sight of his son.

“I love you too,” Liliana replied as she cuddled into Cristiano chest allowing him to wrap his arms around the brunette, he couldn't believe that things were going so well right now for them.

“How long is your paternity leave?” Liliana enquired making Cristiano sigh, he wanted nothing more than to spend as much time at home with his fiancée and son; but he had traded in a couple of weeks of paternity leave so that he could have a honeymoon.

“Three weeks, then I have a week of work and then our wedding,” Cristiano said making Liliana look at him, she knew that he had to play otherwise wise they’d be in trouble for doing nothing while earning so much money.

Cristiano traveled his hand down Liliana’s back as he cuddled her close, he wanted to provide for his family and he knew that his career was going to keep him away at certain times but he hoped that he wouldn’t miss too much of his son’s life.

Liliana closed her eyes tiredly as she slowly started to drift off to sleep, Cristiano sighed as he ran a hand up and down her back as he thought about their future; he wanted their children to want for nothing, to have things that he hadn’t as a children.

Licking his lips softly, Cristiano rested his head against Liliana’s as he closed his eyes; he wanted to be able to provide for them no matter what happened, he hated the idea that they might one day be without him.
