Waking up alone in bed, Liliana glanced around for a moment trying to figure out where her boyfriend had disappeared to; it was clear that he wasn't in the apartment and he had left her alone.

Climbing out of bed, Liliana pulled on her grey check print nightshirt before she headed for the kitchen to make some breakfast; she leant against the counter as she waited for the kettle to boil.

Liliana looked out of the window and sighed, it hadn't escaped her attention that Cristiano had been distant with her recently and she was worried what was going on in his head right now.

Liliana had tried everything to get Cristiano to tell her what was bothering her but he wouldn't open up and it was getting worse; she worried that he was preparing to end things between them.

Today the couple were due to leave their haven to travel back to Vilamoura to their parent's holiday home; where they wouldn't be able to have a lot of time together and Liliana had less of a chance of discovering what was bothering Cristiano.

Crossing her arms as she heard Cristiano return to the apartment, Liliana frowned when he forced a smile as he spotted Liliana waiting for him; he knew that she was starting to get suspicious about his behaviour.

"I went down to the gym," Cristiano explained making Liliana nod as he grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge; the brunette watching him closely as he turned to face her making the footballer frown.

It had been a nice couple of days for them and Cristiano was sure that it would be a while before they got to do this again; it would at least be Christmas before they'd be able to really relax together.

"You know that you can tell me anything," Liliana murmured making Cristiano sigh and nod, he frowned as he watched her for a moment; he didn't know what to do to make her forget about this and he hoped that it wouldn't ruin things for them.

"It's nothing Lil," Cristiano mumbled screwing the lid back onto the bottle, he watched her closely as Liliana stared back at him; she wasn't going to drop this like he wanted her to.

Cristiano sighed, running a hand through his hair as he looked at her wanting things to be simple for them again; he knew that this was on him and his mind was creating problems were there where none.

Staring at Cristiano, Liliana wondered what could possibly be so bad that he couldn't share with her; she searched his face for a moment feeling herself growing more annoyed.

"Fine," Liliana muttered to herself before she pushed herself away from the counter and headed for the bedroom where she slammed the door; she didn't want to fight with him right now especially when things had been so good for them.

Cristiano groaned setting down the bottle and followed after her, he slipped into the bedroom and watched Liliana dress for the day; he hated that they were going to fight over this.

"Nena it's nothing," Cristiano reassured approaching her, he wrapped his arms around her waist and stopped her; he didn't want to part on bad terms when things had been going so well.

It was silent for a moment before Liliana took a deep breath, she knew that they couldn't do this when they were around their parents without raising questions.

"You're shutting me out again," Liliana whispered glancing at him making Cristiano sigh, he rested his head against her shoulder and closed his eyes.

Cristiano had nearly lost Liliana once before, something that he had no need nor want to repeat again; the last time had nearly killed him, Cristiano didn't want to do that again.
