Chapter 3: Pizza

"I still cannot believe you actually got tickets to a One Direction concert!" I exclaimed, smiling happily. I was currently roaming around the mall with Alex, in search of clothes we could wear to the concert.

"Well believe it cause it's happening." Alex smiled and winked at me. We passed be several stores, both of us ignoring them. "Pizza!" Alex exclaimed, dragging me into a place called Uncle Joe's Pizza Parlor.

"Later!" I whined, don't get me wrong I absolutely adore food but whenever we go shopping we only buy food. "Now!" Alex reasoned, pulling me further inside. 'Meh, what am I going to loose anyway?' I thought.

"Fine." I say and Alex smiles triumphantly, muttering a small "yes!" under her breath. Alex dragged me to a nearby booth and we both sat down and ordered what we wanted.

"What do you think his story is?" Alex asked, pointing to a rather scary looking man wearing a brown fedora and a black coat. You may be wondering why Alex asked this, you see, whenever Alex and I go to a restaurant at something we'd point out a few random people and figure out their story; their life. It's quite entertaining, really.

I shrugged "Dunno. He looks like he's a rapist at the same time a murderer. Maybe he's going to meet up with his next victim!" I gasped "Gasp! You may be right! We should call the police ASAP!" Alex giggled. But it soon stopped when a familiar face, an all too familiar face approached our table.

"Hey Raven."

"Uh. . ." I said uncomfortably, shifting in my seat, Alex seemed to have caught the notion that I did not want him anywhere near me. "Hi Nick!" Alex exclaimed somewhat bitterly. "What the fuck are you doing here?" Alex asked, her eyes full of evident anger.

"Uh. . ." Nick was uncomfortable now, looking down at his shoes "I just. . .I thought. . .y'know. . .it would be a good idea to. . .say hello." Nick mumbled, still looking at his feet as if it were so interesting.

Alex laughed bitterly "Well you know what? It's not." Alex narrowed her eyes at the brunette, extremely pissed "Oh." was all he could say "Yeah oh." Alex stood up, I could tell she didn't care that we were somewhere private. Alex isn't a person you should mess with. She's one of the nicest people I know but if you piss her off too much she's going to do something that's going to make you cry in your sleep. No kidding.

"Didn't you get what I'm trying to say, pretty boy?" Nick didn't reply "I'm telling you to back off before I do something both you and I will regret." Alex said firmly. Nick merely nodded "Okay. It was great seeing you guys again." Nick said with a slightly hurtful expression before turning around and heading out the door with his hands in his pockets.

Alex sat down and continued appointing people as if nothing had happened. When finally, our food came.

"Finally! I'm dying here." Alex licked her lips and rubbed her hands, preparing to eat. I chuckled a little and mimicked her actions. Then we began eating.

I was halfway through the meal when Alex shouted "Pizza!" over and over again. People were staring but none of us cared.

"Pizza!" I giggled and shouted it again, repeating and repeating until we heard a voice "Ma'am, you are causing a pot of disturbance towards our other customers. We're sorry for being rude but could you please keep it down for a bit?" a man wearing a red button-down polo uniform smiled gently.

Alex and I nodded but as soon as he left, we burst out laughing.

After a few more moments, Alex sighed "Pizza." she said dreamily, smiling and I giggled.

"Pizza."
