"What a moderate surprise. Might I ask the reason for their presence?" Mr. Hensmen asked the shifty administrator.

The woman turned giving us a scowl before returning her gaze back to the ravishing man.
"It seems that these young ladies have gotten into a bit of a scramble out in the hallway. I find these two (she points to Lilly and Meredith) neck to neck fighting like peacocks while this one ( the bitch points to me) is thrown against a locker" the women explained.

"Oh really?"
"Yes" she replied.

I shuddered gripping my elbows. The pressuring fact was that his eyes were solemnly focused on me.
"Care to explain why you two were fighting and why Mrs. Matthews was in the middle of it?" He asked.

When nobody spoke he hardly slammed his fists against the desk producing a loud bang sound.

We all jumped a little in our seats.
Scared stricken Lilly spoke.
"The fault lies on Meredith . I heard discomfort in the hallway so I went to check on it when I found her pressing Sky up against the wall against her will" Lilly explained with trembling fingers.

At that moment his hard eyes were focused on Meredith's trembling body.
"Something's wrong with her I can feel it. I can smell it" Meredith said.

I shot her a glare. "The only thing your smelling is that cheap perfume of yours"Lilly cracked. I stifled a laugh.

"Your about to be smelling your dead blood dripping from my fangs!" Meredith shouted exposing her sharp teeth along with a malevolent hiss.

"Hey!!" Mr. Hensmen roared once again colliding his big fist with the desk. The simple action instantly silenced the three of us.

"Is this how mature Vampires act?" He questioned.

"No sir" the two girls answered in unison.

"Never in my existence  I swear. And you Lilly this is not at all like you" he chambered.

"I voluntarily apologize" Lilly coaxed with pleading eyes.
"No substance of blood for three weeks, your dismissed."

With that Lilly stood to her feet exiting the office.
I longed to leave with her but solemnly found myself still in the chair  seated next to Meredith.

"Meredith your behavior is intolerable I'm about fed up with it all. Your heart will be donated to the cafeteria next month, your dismissed.

Instead of getting up to leave Meredith eyes widen as a horror filled expression drew itself along  over her pale floral features.

My eyes widened as well because I had never heard vile and disgusting.

"You can't do that it's the only pice of my humanity I have left" she defended voice cracking mid sentence.

I almost felt sympathy for her. The only part of what made her human that she clung dearly to was being snatched away from her....and given to the cafeteria where we eat.

"That disappeared a long time ago" Mr. Hensmen said coldly.
I'd expected some tears but her unfortunate situation didn't mean that she wasn't going to let her pride go before anything else.

Once she was out Mr. Hensmen turned to the lady that was still in the corner looking guilty.

"I'd like a moment alone with this student if you don't mind."

With a nod of her head she exited the office. The tall man stood up from his desk to close the door and lock it.
I gulped repositioning myself in my chair.

I didn't know whether or not I should panic but all I could manage to do was sit still in compete silence.

Instead of going back to his seat he came up behind my chair placing his large two hands on my shoulders.
Breathing wasn't an easy thing to do at this point, I was nervous I didn't know what to say or do.

He slowly dipped his head into my shoulder close to my ear. "You may not know it Sky but you are very important and should know much better than to fall victim of these silly antics " he spoke lowly.

I turned around meeting his sharp eyes. He never truly blinked. They were just dead icy blue eyes that could cause death in an instant.

It was why Meredith or Lilly couldn't look him in the eye.
Except me that is. I could look at them all day because even though he could literally kill me at any fucking second, he just didn't scare me the way he should of.

"What  are you talking about?" I asked my voice higher pitched than normal.

He gave me filtering look "Sooner or later love, you will understand. With time comes maturity, and with maturity comes knowledge and with knowledge comes power."

I continued to stare at him in confusion.
Every word he spoke held zero logic. He knows nothing about me because if he did he'd know that I'm human and that wasn't going to change anytime soon......

"You may not suspect it, but I have very high expectations for you and what you have to offer" he stated.

"Why?" I asked in a small voice.
"Well because your the daughter of Anne and Richard Matthews, I promise you, you won't disappoint" he replied.

I looked down at the floor not really understanding what my parents had to with what I had to offer, and what did I have to offer anyway?

"Am I excused?" I requested after a few moments of silence.

Running a hand through his hair he sighed returning  back to his chair. "Yes you are free to go Mrs. Matthews, enjoy the rest of the dance" he advised.

With a simple "thanks" I jumped to my feet to leave. Not remembering that the door was unlocked I jolted the door only for it to not open.

Feeling stupid and embarrassed I unlocked the door before attempting to reopen it.
