"What is it that you want me to do again?" I ask again with the same look of disgust smeared across my face.
Noah groans having to explain for the billionth time despite knowing that I actually heard what he said."It's easy. All you have to do is just lure that lad away from all those people" he restates pointing to a baby face brunette boy with a red flannel and well worn converse.
I can't believe I'm actually going to do this.....
"Go on" he lightly gives me a light shove and I huff walking forward.
The boy is alone leaning his weight on a rusty pole as he focuses his eyes on his glowing cell phone. He seems to be ignoring all the chattering voices near him as he shields himself in his own little world.
Taking in a deep breath I step up to him.
Sensing the presence of another person he lowers his phone and looks up at me with wide eyes.
His demeanor becomes shaky and nervous almost looking scared of me. Which is weird."Hi" I say cheerfully with a bright smile on my face, it almost hurts my cheek bones.
His breathing is uneven but he still manages to say hello.Looking around I meet his warm chocolate brown eyes, fancied by his boyish innocence.
"Me and my friends are throwing a party and we were wondering if you wanted to come?" I flirtatiously offer beating my eyelashes. Someone please kill me now.
"Your inviting me to a party with you?" He looks astonished and I can tell this thing happens rarely for him. It's almost sad.
"Yes ,why not? you're so cute" I lie resurfacing that fake smile. His face looks even more shocked and I sort of regret being so blunt with him.
He was good looking, don't get me wrong, but he was more of a Paul Wesley good looking, but not a Calvin Harris hot.
"Really??? Umm, sure i'd love to go to a party with you. This is a first. Pretty girls don't usually talk to me" his words are pathetic and reminds me why I never wanted to be an unnoticed loser. I liked it better being the badass people's parents told them not to hang out with. It was far too fun.
"That's so good to hear, shall we"I say holding my arm out. Without hesitation he loops his arm around mine and begins to walk with me. His joy is practically radiating off of his body and I began to feel bad he thinks that he's going to a party with a extremely hot girl (might I add), but he's not he's walking to his death a horrible death.
Lucky bastard. As soon as we're away from the other kids and their voices are nothing but muffles in the distance, I begin to lead him down a dark alley.
"Where we going?" He asks sort of as if he's beginning to change his mind.
I slightly panic.
"To the party this is just a shortcut don't worry. Don't you trust me"I give his hand a squeeze and he immediately nods his head.
"What's your name?" He asks.
I clear my throat looking away. "Sky."
He hums to himself."My mother's name is sky" he said. Please shut up.
"I'm Chad by the way.."
He finishes off and I'm glad that he stops talking because if he had started to relate me to his mother I would have killed him myself.Just as we've reached the middle of the ally I yank my arm from Chad's and call out Noah's name. "Sorry Chad "I rushingly apologize creating a big space between us.
"What's going o-"
He's cut off as Noah emerges from the shadows like a phantom. His eyes are steer black and the veins are popping from his neck makes him look even more scary. Chad lets out a horrible scream and before he can take one step to run, Noah forcefully pens him to the brickwall biting him fiercely in his neck.
