Noah covers a hand over my mouth to prevent me from squealing as footsteps from the hallway are heard. It was dark in the janitors closet where Noah had snuck me too during 7th period.

I sighed in relief when the footsteps faded away leaving us alone once again. I don't know what has gotten into me these past few days but ever since that night something has changed about me.
I'm not sure what but I just feel different.

Focusing my attention back to the gorgeous boy in front of me, I rewrap my arms around his neck leaning in to connect my lips with his. His hands are placed tightly around my waist as we kiss fiercely.

His mouth explores mines and I'm loving every second of it. That is until a sharp pain hits my lower gums.
Pulling away from Noah I press my fingers to my gums messaging in a circular motion to bring forth some relief.

And as if that's not horrible enough, a strong throb strikes through my brain causing me to collapse to the ground. I was having a hard time figuring out what pain to focus on, the one in my head or the one in my gums.

I feel cool hands wrap around me and I look up to see Noah staring back at me with wide eyes.
"Sky, love are you alright?! What wrong?" The words rushed from his lips so fast it was almost hard to conjure up.

"I-I don't know, my head is hurting very badly and my gums.." I complain pointing to my mouth as I attempt to sit up but another throb prevents me from doing so.
I let out a scream when everything in my mouth feels like it's on fire.
It was so unbearable and felt as though someone was pouring hot lava down my throat. Excruciating.

       What's happening to me?
Noah hovers over me with a horrified expression looking clueless and helpless all the same.
"Take me to my dorm" I tell him.
He glides the back of his hand across my check before carefully lifting me up in his arms.

As he opens the door I shield my eyes form the lights even though they're dim. Everything just seems so bright to me.
I'm thanking the heavens when we make it to my dorm room. Shoveling the key out of my pocket I hand it to Noah who immediately uses it to unlock the door.

He uses his foot to close it behind us before carrying me over to my small bed gently placing me on the soft cushion.
"Your ice cold" Noah injects as he removes his hand from my forehead.
My lips feel dry and so does my throat as if I hadn't had a drank in years.

I don't understand. I was completely fine just a few minutes ago. The allusive pain was so uncontrollable I wanted to pull every last strand of hair from my scalp.

"Just let me rest for a while I'll be fine" I reassure him in a raspy voice that makes me want to cringe.
"Are you sure?" He asks concerned.
I nod my head not wanting to hear how bad my voice sounds.

Noah leans down and places a tinder kiss to my forehead and I soak in the small affection.
I watch as he backs away and slowly walks to the door looking back at me once more before exiting leaving me alone.

Sitting up I extend my arm underneath the bed grabbing one of my unpacked suitcases and dragging it out.
Licking my dry lips I unzip the bag raiding through all my things until I have my hands on some antibiotics.

Walking to the bathroom I open up the box shoving at least three pills in my sore mouth. Turning on the faucet I cup my hands taking multiple gulps of water.
