I was struggling to keep up with Mrs.Millers long strides. She was walking as fast as a regular person jogged.
The cold temperatures of the Academy made me shiver and grit my teeth.

My conversed covered feet stepped over sparkled shiny marble. It almost felt like a crime to step on it.

Sophisticated, the school was. Every corner, edge, and crevice crafted and shaped in pure perfection.
Not a single dust particle on the floor, nor a scratch on a locker.

The only audible noise was Mrs . Miller's glossy heels clacking with every step she took.  It was seriously starting to annoy me.
I skipped up by her side as we turned another corner.
She stopped at a door, looked back to make sure I was still with her, then knocked.

"Come in" a very creamy deep male voice beckoned. Mrs. Miller quickly opened the door and led the way in.
I felt relief as a rush of warm air crashed against my freezing skin.

The flooring turned from marble to a warm wooden spread as I walked through the barrier.

My eyes moved around the room taking in every aspect. Deep reddened paint coating the walls, dark curtains, and glass shelves added to the upper class exterior look.

Sitting behind a long shiny desk was a very pale slender looking man, with dark wavy hair jelled to the side.
The man had a strong and sharp jaw line and brilliant blue eyes the color of the sea.
He was very handsome indeed.

My pupils widened just the slightest when they came into view of the polka dotted pit-bull that perched beside the large desk. I blinked a few times to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me.

"Well, hello there. You must be our lovely new student, I've been expecting you" The goodlooking man finally spoke, voice thick and smooth lacing a slight British accent.
It was throbbing.

"Its S-Sky" I stampered keeping my eyes locked on the dog, completely bewildered at it's presence. He followed my gaze to the sitting animal. "Her name's Macy you know" he stated petting the dog on the head while she licked his long pale fingers, a ring looping around almost every knuckle.

"I'm Mr. Hensmen" he announced"And this is Mrs. Mil-"  "I already met her" I cut him off sharply. He lifted an eyebrow, before continuing on speaking.

"Well. Shall we discuss your classes and where you fit academically?" He asked opening up a cream colored folder. "Whatever" I sighed finding myself in a plush leather chair.
From the corner of my eye I could see a faint scowl on Mrs. Miller's face.
I wonder what her problem was.

" I've looked over your grades and past test scores, and may I say, you are one smart young lady" he grinned,  a slight twinkle in his deep blue eyes."What do you have to say about that?"

I looked around the room anywhere but his gazing eyes. Shrugging my shoulder I studied my shoes even though they weren't that interesting.

He smirked glancing at the folder once more.
It seemed nearly impossible that someone as attractive as he was would be working as a principle, or whatever the hell his purpose was here.
"Well, The only problem I can make out is.. well , your behavior. It appears you have a long list of disrespectful and violent outbursts, along with some trespassing charges from previous arrests" he dragged on, eyes scanning down the document.

     I heaved a breath.
"I don't need you telling me things I already know" I snapped in anguish. I've gotten enough lectures to last me a life time,  and I sure as hell don't need another one."
Mr. Hensmen didn't seem to pleased with my outburst.

"There's no need to get feisty young lady. This is a fine establishment and your lucky your parents cared enough to send you to such a nice place" Mrs. Miller spoke sharply.
The heat merging in my fists were getting hotter and hotter by the second.
I wasn't even talking to her.
Why did she feel the need to but in.
"Well I'm talking to you" the angry red head almost snarled.

    I froze in my seat.
There was no way. It was as if she'd read my mind.
"How did you-"  "your predictable hun" she said flipping a strand of her whine stained hair over her shoulder . Mr. Hensmen gave her a look causing her to sank back in her chair, a pale leg crossing over the other as she proceeded in sending a glare my way.

"Here's you schedule and Macy will escort you to your dorm" Mr. Hensmen let out a breath holding out the paper. I knitted my eyebrows together. "You mean the dog? The dog sitting right there is going to take me to my dorm? Yea right. That's real funny, oops, looks as though I'd forgotten to laugh" I chuckled leaning my head back.

Him along with Mrs. Miller looked at me as though I was Patrick from Sponge Bob come to life. "What's your deal" I protested lifting an brow.

"Sorry if we're confused , but didn't your last school have an escort dog?" He asked.
"Not that I knew of" I smirked, still not actually serious about the whole dog escort situation.

"This is a first" Mrs. Miller chimed. "Yes, its very peculiar" Mr. Hensmen responded scratching his chin. The silence went on for another minute.

"Are you going to show me to my dorm, or are you just gonna sit there and stare at each other for an eternity??!" I said standing up from my chair, the legs squeaking loudly as they scraped against the tiles.

They both looked at me before Mr. Hensmen spoke up. "Macy take her to her dorm" he commanded . I rolled my eyes for what felt like the billionth time today.

I was taken back though when the dog suddenly stood up on all fours and literally walked out the office door .When she realized that I wasn't following, she turned back around and nudged my legs with her wet nose.

"Is this for real?" I asked bewildered. "Its as real as it can get" Mrs. Miller remarked crossing her legs. With hesitation, I grabbed my bags and schedule, then followed the dog out the office.

I can't believe I'm actually doing this. Macy guided me to the left then to the right and then down a hallway until we stopped at a red door.

It read "507B." With a sigh I knocked on the door. A few seconds later it opened reveling a rather short girl with short jet black hair and extremely pale skin. She was pretty I'd admit, but in a strange sort of way.
She looked at me with big wide glossy eyes and it sort of freaked me out.

"So your the new roommate" she said leaning her small body on the doorframe.
Oh great I would be sharing a room.

"You gonna let me in, or watch me struggle with these heavy bags" I laughed but it was easy to see how fake it was. Did I care if I sounded rude? No. I don't even want to be here.

"I'm sorry, here let my get that" she apologized reaching for the bags. "Seriously they're really heav-" I started but stopped when she without hesitation, lifted both bags over her petite body.
Now it felt like my eyes were bulging out.
