(In the chapter previous to this one I accidentally called the character Bella pierce which isn't her name, it is Sky Matthew. Sometimes I get confused. I have corrected the error, sorry for the mishap, enjoy)

The bushes, vines, and trees blurred together as ran.
The freezing wind sliced past my cheeks burning and paleing with zero mercy.

I could feel my eyes fogging with black and it was then that I could truly see. I could really see the forest for what it was.

Every aspect of it. The bark on the trees, the water drops on the leaves, and every individual grass straw spiking up from the ground.

I felt enchanted by its magnificent and unique beauty . I had never seen the world this way.

Whatever I was, human or vampire or even both, I was still me. I was still Skylar Matthew I am still that same wild and carefree soul that listened to the voice of no one.

I wasn't some defected delinquent who broke rules and stood as the mishap of society.
Although that's how people saw me, it wasn't true.

Sky Matthew is just a little more complex than that.
Misunderstood, that fit the script, a script that people different than I, wouldn't be able to read.

I smiled to myself. I wasn't  a burden, I was a gift. That same thought repeated itself over and over in my head as I ran for hours on end, covering miles and miles of land and forest.

I was in hell I really was.  This wasn't the way it was supposed to go. This wasn't the way father said it was going to go.
Skyler was supposed to be excepting and realize the importance in which she held.

I should've told her. The thing is that I've been waiting for her for centuries and now that I had her I can't believe that she just slipped for my grasp.

If only she would've listened to the entire story she would've understood  I knew she would've, but she just had to leave she had to run away without a single word or response or anything at all.

I would've told her that my mother was half human and half vampire herself and that was why we were meant to be.

We both would bring something so extraordinarily magnificent to this race it would be groundbreaking.

Skyler's parents are protective, extremely protective. They made her believe she was living a human life ,that she was normal like them that's why she didn't fit in because in fact she wasn't normal like them she was something different.

My father didn't quite appreciate the human race but he lived with them in peace.
He created the Academy for youngling's like ourselves to learn about our history and thrive. We didn't  have to be the vicious monsters that the humans accused us of being.

We could be ourselves there.

If only  sky knew how special she was and how alike we both were she would come to her senses and realize how much I love her not just because what we can create together, but who she is as a person or vampire.

"I'm going to go look for her" I stated.

"No. Maybe she just needs some time to herself  ,this is a lot to take in at once" Skyler's mother said holding onto her husband with a sad look on her face.
