Chapter 35

I awoken the next morning in Noah's bed. I looked around in search for him but it was clear that he was not in the room.

Flinching from the contact of the cold floor against my feet I put on some slippers.
Grabbing some clothes, I went into the bathroom connected to Noah's room and prepared for a shower.

When I got out I dried with one of the fluffy towels before dressing in my black leggings and a t-shirt.

Wiping the fog off the mirror to observe my belly which had seemed to get a bit bigger in size . It was a scary but amazing thing all in. The baby seemed to grow everyday and the fast rate was a spectacular thing to witness first hand.

But I was nervous. I was nervous for when the baby would come. Who knew what kind of mother I would be.
Noah and I weren't even married and we were having a child.

I left the bathroom and proceeded down the stairs were two male voices were conversing with one another.

As soon as I hit the last Noah and Mr. Hensmens eyes were on me.
"Good morning baby" Noah beamed walking up to me and planting a kiss on my cheek.

I smiled at him but felt a little awkward that he was doing this infront of his father.

"Good morning Sky dear how are you feeling?" Mr hensmen asked when his son pulled away from me.
"I'm good for now" I replied taking a seat on one of the kitchen stools.
My damp hair swayed from the motion.

"Marvelous, I was thinking we could condos the ultrasound after breakfast" he announced.
I began to feel a bit jittery on the inside.
It would be our first real look at the baby.

"That sounds great" I agreed.
With that he vanished up stairs leaving Noah and I alone.
"Hungry?" Noah asked approaching me, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"A little" I smiled pecking his soft but oh so marble lips.
He pecked me back which soon turned into a kiss.

He pulled away with wet lips, lust in his eyes.
"I can't ever get enough of you"
He groaned huskily.

"I don't want you too."

He smirked at my words his blue eyes staring straight into me.
"Common eat, I went hunting while your were sleeping last night" he said pulling off his shirt, exposing a canvas of never ending skin and muscles.

"Yes sir" I replied in a low voice before dipping my mouth in the corner of his neck.
My fangs instantly sprouted out and I bit into his flesh.

I moaned as a wave of warm sweet blood came flooding into my mouth. I wrapped my arms around him as I launched my fangs even deeper.
Noah's hands squeezed my waist even tighter as he rubbed them in comforting circles.

Low unidentifiable sounds came from his mouth and it was clear that he was feeling pleasure.

When I had enough I pulled away but not before licking his delicious neck clean.

I was seated in a medical recliner that was much more comfortable than the operating table at the academy.
It was warm and fairly cushioned.

We were in a downstairs room in the house that was more towards the back.
The back wall was completely glass and it outlooked the forest behind the mansion.

Hooked up to my arm was an IV which accounted for my blood pressure and my heart rate.
My shirt was rolled up to the hem of my breastline as Mr. Hensme- well... Clark hooked up up a micro sticker to my belly.

As soon as he powered it on and adjusted it, little suction noises began irrupting in from the microphone.
I turned to Noah who had a wife smile on his face.

"That's the baby's heartbeat?" I asked peaking up from the recliner only to be motioned back down.
"Yes this is his heartbeat isn't it wonderful" Clark stated.
I feel my eyes tearing up.

I have never felt so emotional in all my life.
His heartbeat was like music to my ears.

Noah snuck my hand in his and gave it a squeeze.
"Are you ready to see the baby now?" Clark asked his hands clasped tightly together.

When I said yes he reached to his side and pulled out a long white tube.
He didn't give much of a warning before he popped open the top and squirted a very cold jelly on to my stomach.

I gasped lightly not quite liking the feeling.
He apologized before squirting it bit more.
He then used what he called an ultrasound probe to spread the gel out.

My stomach appeared on the monitor in black and white.
It didn't look much like a stomach but more like a black tunnel with rings.

But then I saw him.
He was right there in the middle of it.
Clark spread the gel out more and the quality on the screen enhanced.

"Oh my god" I said covering my mouth, a tear slide down my ear.
I could see him so clearly.
His head, his torso, his legs, his toes, his fit that were balled up by into cute little fist.

He was everything, he was so perfect.
"Look at him" Noah beamed cheerfully a twinkle in his blue eyes. This excited him very much.

"That's my baby" I expressed feeling he emotions take me over completely until they were all that I felt.

"His development is incredible" Clark acknowledged.

It was indeed it had felt like just yesterday that I found out that I was pregnant and now here I was actually looking at him, and suddenly I couldn't wait to hold him in my hands.

He was developing fast but not fast enough.
he'd be here in a few weeks but I didn't want to wait a few weeks I wanted to hold him now I wanted him in my hands now, I didn't care that I probably wasn't fully prepared to be a parent I would take care of that child with everything in me and seeing him on that monitor now just made me realize of that.
