Hey guys! Jess here! This isn't a chapter, but one of my very amazing friends wrote a poem that she said describes me. I don't really see it, but the poem is beautiful. She writes some really interesting and deep stuff. Please follow Resa_M_JamCX!! Thanks so much!! Also please play the song above which is Flaws by Bastille. I found that it fit the poem pretty well, but if you can think of a better song to go with please tell me. Chapter 4 will be heading your way this Monday!

Signing off,
Jess ;)

Poor Dolly

The doll's eyes
Big, baby blue colored buttons
Her nose
Perfectly sculpted, small and cute
Freckles as small as little stones
Her smile stitched tight to the fabric of her face
The perfect dollhouse for her play-mate
When you look deeper
You'll see the reason her eyes
Are that wonderful blue
The tears are rising from the dam
She built to protect others
You'll see that little scar
On her not-so-perfect nose
Freckles are the holes to her inner soul
She's wearing thin
Her smile turns vile
You see her pain through the fog of deception
The poor dolly's playmate needs her to be:
Perfect
So this doll will keep going on
Singing an off-key song
To remind herself to keep pretending
To bend until she breaks
Long nights she'll stay awake
What a poor dolly...
