(Lyssa POV)
Oliver asked me to go to the movies with him... OMG!! I'm going to the movies with my crush!!! But, he's also my best friend... This is just like one of our regular movie nights... yeah...
He told me to dress up, because we'll be going out to dinner after the movie. I put on a blue polka dot dress and some white converse. I am not wearing heels. Sorry, but this is about as dressed up as I ever get and Oliver knows that.
*Knock, knock*
I go and open the door to see Oliver holding two movie tickets for Finding Dory. "Oh my gosh!! We're seeing Finding Dory?!" I asked in disbelief.
"I knew you really wanted to see it..." Oliver scratched the back of his head. He looks hawt!! He was wearing a dark blue dress shirt with black pants and dress shoes.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I squealed clinging to his arm. "You're the bestest friend ever!!" I had to make sure to add that in... I know he doesn't like me.
"Uh huh... Let's just get going," he said leading me to his car. He opened the passenger door for me and got in on the other side.
When we arrived at the movie he bought a cherry coke for us to share and gave the tender our tickets. We went inside and sat down.
Once the movie started, I leaned on Oliver and he put his arm around me. We always do this at the movies. We have since we were little kids. But, this time it feels different.
After the movie, he took me to a very high class restaurant, which is something we usually don't do. Normally, we'd just go to Krekel's. We arrived at Le Chateau Fleur and it was absolutely amazing. It had a beautiful chandelier in the center of the ceiling and a fountain near the entrance.
"Um, Oliver. Isn't this place a bit expensive?" I asked looking at the menu. It was $16.99 (£11.79) for a salad! I don't want him to pay for this... But, he got a reservation and everything. People might start to think that we're dating...
"No, that's okay. My dad went to highschool with the owner. He promised me one free date a month," he explained.
My face burned, "A date?"
"N-not that this is a date..." Oliver covered up, "Unless... you want it to be..."
(Oliver POV)
Stupid, stupid, stupid! I said it... I didn't want her to realize it was my version of a date. After putting my arm around her in the theater, I wasn't sure I could keep up the charade that I just wanted to stay friends. It felt different this time. Like, there was something else between us...
"N-no that this is a date..." my face burned with embarrassment, but I had to know, "Unless... you want it to be..." Here it goes... I can't wait any longer; I have to know.
"I think I'd like that," Lyssa replied reaching for my hand from across the table. She... She likes me back... Now's the time!
"Lyssa, there's something I need to tell you..." I managed to get the words out.
"Yes?" she looked somewhat concerned.
Well, here goes nothing. "I-I love you..."
(Lyssa POV)
He's probably going to tell me that this is all a joke now... "I-I love you..." he said. I was shocked.
"I-I love you, too..." I smiled. He leaned into kiss me, but pressed a finger against his lips. I want to kiss him so badly right now...
"Not here, everyone would look at us..." I explained.
"Let them watch," Oliver replied with a smug grin, before capturing my lips with his.
We stayed like that for a while. We decided to ditch this place and go to Krekel's. Le Chateau Fleur was way too expensive and I think I'd prefer cheeseburgers anyways.
When we finished our dinner, Oliver dropped me back off at my doorstep. He got out and gave me a hug. Before he could leave, I grabbed his collar.
"Isn't there something you need to ask me?" I asked with a smirk.
He blushed and asked, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Hmmmm...... Let me think about it......" I paused for effect, "YES!!!!"
He pulled me in for a hug and gave me a quick kiss before leaving. I can't wait until next movie night.
