One Shot: Hugs?

I had meant to upload this yesterday, June 29th, because it was National Hug Day. I thought it would make a good One Shot, but I didn't get the chance to finish writing it. Also, I have reached 200+ reads! I am super excited. Thank you guys so much for reading my story! Luv you's!!!!

(Oliver POV)

She's so beautiful... I sighed. I was walking over to Lyssa's house and I couldn't stop daydreaming about her. Why can't she see how I feel about her?

I finally reached my destination and knocked on the door. Seconds after, it opened to reveal a very nervous Lyssa.

(Lyssa POV)

I opened the door and Oliver stood there. I was wringing my hands nervously because of what I was going to do. I'm going to do it, today! I'm going to tell Oliver I like him.

"Hey, Oliver! Come inside!" I shut the door behind us and we made our way upstairs.

"What's up?" he looked at me skeptically.

"Nothing..." I said taking out my phone.

"Right..." he said sarcastically, laying his head on my shoulder. I blushed. It feels right when he does this. Or when he lays his head on my lap when we're playing video games.

"Hey, Lyssa, look," he said interrupting my thoughts. "It's National Hug Day!" he smiled.

This is perfect! "Why don't we celebrate it?" I asked pulling him in for a hug and nuzzling my face in his chest.

"O-okay," he answered nervously as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Hey, Oliver?" I asked.

"Y-yes?" he answered pulling away so that I could see his blushing face.

(Oliver POV)

Sh-she's hugging me!!! I probably look like a tomato, but she's hugging me again!! "Hey, Oliver?" she said breaking me out of my reverie.

"Y-yes?" I answered blushing.

"I-I... I like you... a lot," she responded.

I was shocked, "R-really?"

"Yeah... I'm sorry if I made this awk-" I interrupted her with a kiss. It was soft and sweet, but not any less passionate.

"You could never make it awkward," I said pulling her back in for a hug, "I like you, too."

We soon broke apart, but we cuddled and kissed for the rest of the day.
