When I get out of the helicopter, my eyes immediately search for Natasha. I see her running with soldiers, and she sees me. She runs to me, shooting guards along the way. I hug her when she reaches me. I am so relieved to see her alive and well. We don't have time to catch up, however. We immediately run to the front.

"Ashley showed me around. I know where they keep the girl," she says as she fights a man. He falls easily.

"Girl?"

"They were training her like they trained me. So far they only had one." She takes down another assassin woman.

I wack one girl in the head with some guilt as she crumples to the ground. I never had to hit a woman. It feels so wrong. I sparred some with Peggy long ago, but never had I been expected to do this. Natasha looks as if she feels nothing. I watch her fight her way through assassins and many soldiers. We work our way through the crowds together and finally manage to find an abandoned entrance. I look back to the main scene of the battle. I see Thor and his lightening, Banner smashing his way through, and Stark in his Iron Man suit. I smile knowing that we have a chance and enter with Nat.

Natasha leads me through the empty halls constantly on the lookout for people. She points out the hallway where we will find the girl. We reach a door, but before Nat can open it she is taken down by a figure.

"I can't believe you!" a girl says. "Here I was actually trusting you. I guess they were right. Emotions cloud judgement!" She headlocks Natasha with her legs and flips her over. I throw my shield at her and hit her square in the chest. She falls back giving Natasha a chance to get up.

"Captain America," she hisses and lunges at me. I push her off with my shield and Natasha catches her and pins her down.

"Nat, we have to do it," I tell her. I know we have to kill her, and judging by the look in Natasha's eyes, she knows too. She reaches slowly back for her gun, but the girl sees this opportunity and wrenches out of Nat's hold. I throw my shield again, knock her over, and grab her. I hold her in a position where Nat has a clear shot. The girl can't fight my grip. She is strong, but not as strong as me.

Natasha looks sad as she raises the gun. "I'm sorry, Ashley," she says and pulls the trigger. She shoots her once, twice, three times. She looks destroyed as Ashley crumples to the ground dead.

"That was her? That was your bunkmate, Ashley?" I ask gently.

Natasha nods. I wrap her in a hug and whisper "I'm so sorry." She doesn't cry, however. She won't cry until the mission is over. I kiss the top of her head.

She rises again pulling out of my hug slowly. "We have a mission don't we? Let's find her." She opens the door, and we run into the training room where a little girl is loading a gun.
