I spend the night repacking by bag. Nat does the same. We plan on hitting Orlando, Florida first. Neither of us have been to any of these places on my list, but we both agree to hit Disney, Universal Studios, and such first. It looked the most fun. I plan on picking her up early since we are going to drive. Driving would save some money since we are already blowing so much on this trip.

In the morning, I pick Natasha up. She looks upset.

"Bad dream again?" I ask.

"Yeah." She sounds distant.

"I'm sorry. What was it? Same Red Room stuff?"

She nods. I can only imagine how bad it was if it scarred her as it did.

"You still up for this?"

She looks to me and smiles. "Yes. Definitely. Let's go."

"Have you eaten yet?"

"No, I didn't eat."

"Want to stop?"

We stop at a Chick fil A. Sam was right. They have great food. I can only imagine Thor's reaction to places like this. I can practically hear it. "This chicken. I like it. Another!" I tell that joke to Nat and she laughs in agreement.

A few hours later, the car is quiet. Neither of us talk very much, and I'm focused on the road. Natasha looks over and decides to speak.

"You were part of the dream last night," she says.

I look over to her. "What happened?"

"After the graduation ceremony. Instead of the instructor in there, it was you."

My face falls. "Are you afraid of that happening?" I get no response. "Nat, I told you, I wouldn't hurt you. I could never do that to you. You're a lady and you deserve respect. Not to mention, you're my partner. My friend. Everything. I could never hurt you like that. I wouldn't use you like that. I'm waiting for that anyway."

"You're too traditional," she says smiling. "I love that. Thank you, Steve."

The drive takes thirteen hours total. We had to stop for both lunch and dinner. By the time we get there and get checked in, both of us are exhausted. Nat flops on one of the beds immediately. I sit down on the other. She rolls over to face me.

"I'm glad you suggested this, Nat. I like the look of this place," I tell her.

"I'm glad you decided to take me. I've never been here," Natasha responds sleepily. She gets up and heads to the bathroom to change. She returns in sweatpants and an old t shirt and promptly flops on the bed again. She clumsily peels back the covers. Soon enough she is asleep. She looks so harmless asleep. Beautiful. I smile and turn out the light excited for the adventure here in Orlando.
