I leave the room and slam the door behind me. Right now I need a warm and very strong coffee to get some energy. Maybe I'll wake up and realize that this is reality and this is how it's going to be, nothing to do about it.

I walk to the common room and aim staright for the coffee machine, the pot is full and the coffee inside it is quite hot so I don't bother to make another pot. I fill my coffe mug, the huge one I got from Gabby ages ago, and sit down in the sofa in front of the tv. Mouch is sitting there as usual and he's watching some weird documentary but it'll do for now.

"How you doin' lieutenant?" Herrmann asks.

"I told you, I'm fine" I reply and keep wondering what the documentary actually is about.

It's silent for awhile. "Everything is usually not fine when you put your feet on the table" He say.

I look at my feet and realize that I do have my feet on the table. Herrmann is right, when I have my feet on the table I'm normally really stressed out or feeling sad. Because when I feel like that I just want to relax and care about nothing and noone.

I sigh and turn around to look at the others. "I'm off duty" I say, no more has to be said.

"For how long?" Otis ask.

I think for awhile, I'm not really sure. "Till Chief wants me back, I guess" I reply.

Nobody says anything more, this conversation seems to be done. I lean back in the sofa again and once again place my feet on the table, legs crossed over each other. I'm looking at the tv but I'm not actually listening to what they are saying or showing.

It's boring, I'm tired and right now I don't care about anything. All I want to do is to go sleep like sleeping beauty and wake up when I can do my job again because my job keep me alive. Without my job I would be sitting still in an office chair all day and that is something I can't handle.

"Matt, you got a visitor" I hear a voice saying.

I look up and it's Gabby and a woman. The woman is Alyssa. I wanted to write a contract with her building company so they could help me fix that school. But Alyssa wanted more then writing a contract and it felt uncomfortable so I shut it all down but she can't let it go. She's texting me, calling me, sending me stuff I don't even want and now Gabby think I'm cheating.

"Hi Matt" She says happily.

I get up from the sofa and push out a fake smile. I stop when I'm in front of her.

"Hi" I say, I don't want to hug her, not shake her hand; actually I don't want to talk to her at all.

"Nice to see you" She say and walk to me nad kind of force me into a hug.

I place my head slightly on her shoulder and look at Gabby who's standing behind. She rolls her eyes and glares at me before she turn around and leave.
