"Hey Taylor!" I yelled across the courtyard of Valor High School.

She spun around, her eyes locking on me instantly and i swear i saw the color drain from her face.

"Come here." I hooked my pointer finger toward me, beaconing her over.

Her eyes drifted to the few feet of grass between us skeptically, choosing to keep her distance from me; probably for safety reasons.

"So you're all talk and no bite?" I pursed my lips a bit, disappointed. Shaking my head, i laughed darkly for a moment, my attention fixed on her.

"Most people are now-a-days. They can sit on their asses and talk trash all day, every day, but when someone decides to call them out on it, they become nothing more than a defenseless little puppy. That's just sad. I expected a LITTLE more from you." Laughing again, i could feel a smirk begin to form on my lips.

I cracked my knuckles quickly, already feeling the adrenaline start to pulse through my veins.

Her eyes went wide in shock, but she quickly attempted to cover up her distress by blanking her expression.

//Too late. I already saw.//

"You're gonna try and fight me?" She finally spoke up, and to my surprise, her voice cracked.

"No trying involved. I'm gonna kick your ass. No one messes with my life and gets away with it."

She swung at me, but put way too much power into it, so all i had to do was side-step, causing her to miss and stumble forward.

I took the opportunity to drive an elbow into the middle of her spine, momentarily paralyzing her, and she fell forward onto the grass, gasping for air.

A crowd had formed now, and they proceeded to cringe and "Oooooooo."

"This is useless. You aren't going to win." I said, realizing how my strength alone made this just plain boring. I figured i could give her a chance to leave with at least a little bit of dignity left.

Taylor's breathing was still stressed, and her reply came out flat; "I'm stronger than you think."

"I could say the same to you..." I muttered, straightening my posture as she pulled herself off the ground, ready to try and hit me again.

She lunged at me, but i didn't dodge this time. Smoothly, i grabbed the arm she swung with and yanked her down, bringing my knee up at the same time. My knee connected with her nose, making a sickening noise as it broke. I, on the other hand, hardly felt a thing.

She screamed in pain, collapsing on the ground as she clutched her rapidly bleeding nose.

"I think you sprung a leak." I smiled at her, then turned away. With my point now thoroughly proven, i shoved my hands down in the front pocket of my hoodie as i made my way to the parking lot to leave.
