A loud bang woke me from my sleep.
Andrew had brought me home and walked me inside, and all i did after was peel my clothes off and crawl into my bed, determined on just getting some rest and ignoring whatever had just happened.
As far as i knew, i was alone... Sean had to work a late shift tonight and wouldn't be home until around 2 in the morning...
I shot a look over at my clock.
11:46. Definitely not Sean...
I sat up quietly, making a slick move out of my room and into the living room where the noise had come from, staying low near the floor to avoid anyone who may have been glancing through any of the front windows.
See, in my dreams, i was an incredible fighter. I could blend together moves with my keyblades, cast spells and summon amazing creatures all within a few seconds, but in real life, i was only a decent street fighter. Basically just tactics and strength was all i had under my belt at this point, so against someone older than me or who really knew what they were doing..?
I don't think i would stand a chance.
I snuck up to the front door, pressing my back firmly against the wall so i could sneak a peak out the slim window beside it, but without being seen by anyone on the outside.
It all looked clear and quiet. Not even any crickets chirping or-
A tall, slim figure strode just a few feet in front of the window, seeming to head towards my neighbor's house.
"Hide!"
I inhaled sharply but quickly covered my mouth with my hands and plopped onto the floor in a sitting position. My heart throbbed in pain as my brain was running a hundred miles an hour, trying to digest everything that had just happened and it suddenly got a bit harder to breathe.
I knew i recognized that voice; and not only from a few hours ago. The sound sent calming waves over me, almost like a safety blanket, but i felt the familiar block of the walls in my mind rise up, preventing me from digging deeper.
Not that my brain would focus long on that subject anyway.
But that cloak... No...
I recognized the form-fitting, sleek black cloak that the person outside my house had been wearing from my dreams.
That can't be possible. That's just my mind playing tricks on me because i've been so focused on those dreams lately.
"But what if those dreams- AREN'T dreams?"
"Huh?! W-Who's there..?" Scared out of my mind, my voice cracked under the pressure as my eyes searched around for the person speaking.
But... It didn't sound like it was coming from any particular direction... It sounded like... It came from inside my own head..?
"Ha. Let's just say... A friend. Well, not really. You were never very fond of me."
It was a female's voice. Once again, i swore that i knew who it belonged to, but i couldn't seem to pull anything up.
The figure i had seen outside my house was definitely a man... But this voice was definitely feminine.
Oh good. There's three freaks in my house.
"Control your mind, number 15. Always so quick to over-analyze your situation and surroundings. That'll be the death of you one day."
She giggled darkly at that."Number 15..? The hell? Who are you and what do you want?"
I yelled in no particular direction, starting to feel as if i may be going insane."So many questions. You're farther behind than we thought. I figured you would at least have broken past enough to recognize my voice."
She continued to laugh.I glared in response, but stayed silent, hoping she'd slip up and fill me in on something i didn't know yet.
"All will make sense soon enough. Hopefully then, you both will come home."
I felt her presence disappear. Wait, her... Power? Yeah... She held a certain power that was so strong you could feel it.
"Both... Will go... Home..?"
I lifted my eyes to the ceiling in question.
