My jaw dropped.

"Sirius, are you kidding?" I exclaimed. I couldn't believe he was suggesting such a thing. "We can't talk to her! Her friends will kill us!" I reminded him, but he shook his head.

"I already talked to her, and Regulus. They're going to keep their friends under control. Also, it's not like she has nothing to fear about you guys, either, so calm down," he responded cooly. I sat down; it was such a random proposition. Turning to Remus, I narrowed my eyes.

"You're still talking to her, aren't you?! Of course," I remarked, rubbing my eyes.

"Please just try getting to know her," Remus requested. Sirius supported him.

"She's actually pretty cool. She likes good bands and drawing and other cool things. I like her, and there's actually no reason to hate her. Looking back, I don't really understand why the entire school hates her so much."

I sighed. Clearly, they were not going to let up on this.

"Alright, fine. Whatever. If her friends try anything, we leave," I conceded. Remus rolled his eyes.

"Her friends won't be there, you idiot. She has a free period while her friends are in class," he stated.

Wait. Now I was just confused.

"We have classes too! How are we going to meet her?" I asked, not really thinking. Peter raised an eyebrow.

"We're going to cut. Duh." He chirped. Sirius laughed.

"Are you sick, James?" He asked, feigning concern. Remus chuckled.

"Maybe he's just dumber than we thought," he chimed. I glared at them.

"Fuck off. All of you. Alright, let's go get this over with," I sighed.

Let's go meet Ashlynn Elmer.

I wonder how this will go.
