If you are between levels 1-30, you don't actually need to grind that much until level 30, so I would recommend just doing the main quest until you're about level 25 (I'm not so sure about levels, my next method is more accurate) or when you are up to the quest "Forgotten Shadow".
However, if you do feel that grinding is necessary, I would recommend killing Kijimus, Nepheels and Dragnofs from Ronfa Mountains or Colons, Hounds, Baums and Pokes from Rokoko Plains. Be careful though, Hounds and Pokes are aggressive meaning they'll attack anyone who's level is lower than themselves. Hounds are level 22 while Pokes are level 28. This means that to avoid being attacked by any monsters in Rokoko Plains, you have to be level 28 or higher. Hunting in Saug Swamp (one map South-East of Rokoko Plains) is also fine but all of the monsters in Saug Swamp are aggressive so you have to be careful not to approach monsters with levels higher than you.
