--Catfight --

I was quite, wait scratch that, I was very curious about the visitor that was to visit us today. Us? When did Diego and I became 'us'?

When you both got married..duh

My conscience reminded me. Not like I needed a reminder to that. And not like I was going to acknowledge it anyway. Married, my ass.

Diego looked tensed the whole morning. He was on leave today, and looked exasperated. I wasn't sure as to why. He was worried and it was faintly evident in his eyes too. It was like, he knew a bomb blast is going to happen and he was thinking of ways to diffuse that bomb.

His problems were definitely not mine. But, he was continuously running a hand through his hair which disturbed me on a level beyond anyone's understanding.

"Are you fine?" I asked finally not being able to contain my curiosity. And hopefully, this will give him a break from messing his hair up too.

"Yes. Of course, why'd you ask? I am perfectly fine." He answered, more like rambled. Rambled like a suspect who rambles during an interrogation. If it wasn't for his control on his expressions, I am sure he would have looked like a deer caught in headlights too.

"Sure.." I trailed off, letting him know that I don't believe a word he said. Besides, I don't give a damn about his worries, it's not like I haven't got mine.

Diego still sat on the sofa, looking frustrated, again running a hand through his hair. I am not sure if I want to admit this to myself yet or not, but I think he is just another one of the many things I am worrying about right now.

Looking at my life, how messed up it is. I am not going to recap everything as I already have hundred times in my mind. Leo. Anton. Erik. Diego. These four men have ruined my life for real. And the funny thing is, I am not even completely sure about the 'how' part. All I know is, whatever messy things are happening in my life are because of them.

Suddenly, the doorbell of the penthouse rang breaking my thoughts. I saw Diego jerk up from my peripheral vision.

I went ahead to open the door but then Diego's voice stopped me, "Stop!" He literally yelled and his voice kinda echoed in the empty penthouse

"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Diego looked at me embarrassingly which was well, kind of new for him. If I had my phone, I would have definitely took a photo. Which reminded me of my phone...damn this man really!

He cleared his throat and then said, "Don't open the door."

"Why?" I asked, not sure why there was a sudden panic in his eyes. The doorbell rang again and I walked further to open the door.

"Don't! Get inside your room." Diego said, in a thundering commanding tone. What's up with him really..

"Why? Who's there outside?" I asked, crossing my arms across my chest. I am not backing off, he is acting so strange and I want to know why.

"Because I don't want a cat-fight happening in here.." He muttered something incoherent, which was beyond my understanding.

"What, Diego, what?" I asked, irritated with his behavior. The doorbell rang again and this time despite of him stopping me, which included me dodging him, I opened the door.

"You!" I exclaimed loudly, not believing my eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Came the reply.

Both of our voices clashed together and I understood why Diego didn't want me to open the door. Ladies and Gentlemen, the bitchiest of the bitches is here.
