I'm Not A Weakling

Chapter 18

Natsu

      I was standing in a clearing where Mavis believed where Lucy will go to next. We decided to see if Lucy will come back if I talked to her before they launch the actual plan. Lucy, how many secrets are you keeping from me? I thought.

     "Oi Natsu," I looked over to Happy, who was hovering in mid air. He had a worried expression on his face. "Is this going to work?" I smiled at him. 

      "Don't worry Happy. Lucy can make it. If not, we'll go with the First's plan. After all, she isn't called the Fairy Tactician for nothing." Happy smiles and nods. 

     "Aye Sir!"

     "Aww, so kawaii!" A voice said out loud. There stood before me was Lucy. 

      "Lucy," I started to say. Demon-Lucy just laughed at me. 

     "You hear that Lucy? He still thinks that I'm you!" Then she looks at me. "Oh BTW, Lucy's not physically here, just all in here."She points at her head and smirks.

     "Lucy! I know you're in there! Fight it!"

     "She's not coming back! Maybe I should kill you on the spot!" A black orb shot out from her hand and was aimed right at me. I dodged it in time. 

     "Now!" I shouted.

     Sting, Rogue, and Serenity jumped out and attacked. Mavis was on a nearby tree branch overseeing the plan. Sting and Rogue attacked Lucy while Serenity tried to find an opening.

     "Natsu!" Serenity said to me telepathically. "Attack her, while she's distracted with Sting and Rouge!"

     "Hai! Karyū no Hōkō!" A beam of fire shot out of my mouth and surprises Lucy. Before Lucy could do anything after the attack, Serenity lunged at Lucy and bared her teeth. Serenity sunk her teeth, into Lucy's neck! Lucy screamed in agony and pain. Serenity lets go and Lucy fell down to her knees. She clutched her neck and was breathing heavily. 

     I wanted to go and help her, but I reminded myself that she was not my Luce. Mavis came down to Lucy, only to step back in shock. Lucky started to laugh. "Did you really think that spell would do a number on me again like the last time?" She starts to stand up and take her hand off her neck. The wound started to close up. "I'm going to kill you all!" A black orb forms around her, but before she could throw it at us, the black orb disappears and Demon Lucy clutched the sides of her head with both arms. "Really Lucy? Now's a really bad time." I could see her black hair slowly turning back to her blonde hair.

     "I-only-need-a-few-minutes!" Our Lucy struggled. Lucy finally got in control of her body and requips a sword.

     "What is that?" I asked. Mavis said with wide eyes. "The Cursed Sword. The sword that kills demons. Don't tell me..." Lucy holds her sword in front of her and looks at me.

     "Natsu, I'm sorry,"

     Lucy, what are you doing?

     "Silly girl. You wouldn't do it." Demon Lucy came back, but Lucy quickly got back in control.

     "Try me." She said and closed her eyes.
